Orion is a frantic first person shooter where you fight the void creatures in mysterious planets and advance using your special abilities and gadgets.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

Унылый, скучный и короткий шутер от первого лица, в котором всего лишь один уровень. Враги наитупейшие, сложность ниже нулевой, смысла нет это запускать. Видимо это демка, и на ней всё закончилось...
I mean, i want to give this a 'positive' review but.. I just can't. The game is a very old-style, retro-ish first person shooter. You have a crossbow that fires automaticly, a blunderbuss (shotgun pistol?) and a grapling hook to travel around the small world. There isn't much to explore other then to kill enemy's, fly around using the grapling hook and doing a short parkour with moving rocks and stuff.

Enemies are quite hard to kill sometime as it takes quite some 'arrows' to kill a monster. And you can't adjust the volume settings unfortunately which would be a huge bonus. That said, it's very short, very simple and it's just not it. I expected a little more with better and bigger parkour, more variaty with monsters and the world itself with maybe some secrets for other weapons and stuff.

Right now i'm not sure if this is the first game made by the developer, if so you've done a good job but i personally expected a bit more 'gameplay' then just running, shooting and that's about it. If you have updated your game, connect me and i will check it out again and hopefully change my review.
Un juego bastante cortito pero interesante. Se nota la inspiración en shooters retro de los 90 tanto a nivel estético (el filtro en especial le da un toque bastante único) como jugable, y puede ser interesante de speedrunnear. Recomiendo echarle un ojo!

Fun and short shooting game with platformer elements. Quite fun to speedrun and also free so, why wouldn't you give it a try?
Orion, gizemli gezegenlerdeki hiçlik yaratıklarıyla savaştığınız ve özel yeteneklerinizi ve cihazlarınızı kullanarak ilerlediğiniz çılgın bir birinci şahıs nişancı oyunudur.
Funny arcade shooter. Would recommend to speedrun or when you don't have much time. Keep up the good work! :D
Before I played Orion, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
"Orion: The Eternal Punishment" is a genuinely, but unfortunately poorly made attempt at a boomer shooter. What do you do in the game? The story involves a hunter, Orion, who was turned into a constellation after his death and tasked with hunting corrupted stars. You are given an automatic crossbow and a blunderbuss, and use special abilities and gadgets to progress like a grappling hhook swing. Unfortunately there's almost no polish here, gameplay is slow, sluggish, uneventful and unengaging. It'a amazing that someone worked out how to make a first person shooter into a boring experience, but here we are. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. The graphics aren't great, very low quality assets trying to look "retro" but just look bad. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
