Produced exclusively from real recordings of 911 calls, witness trial testimony, and architectural drawings. One Dark Night tells the story of the day teenager Travyon Martin was shot and killed by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman.

Very good setting, story and characters but leaves a lot lacking in level design. Where your average game would have a huge open world One Dark Night simulates crapmed living rooms and 7-11's. Might be for the best, as there's no way to edit your controls and there's only one ending. Considering this game is short and free it might be worth a shot, but even then it feels unfinished. For One Dark Night 2 I would like more focus on gameplay.

N O............. Recipe for a drink called the trayvon maartini Which is where you add 1/3 of arizona watermelon ice tea, 1/3 arizona grape ice tea, and fill rest with malt liquer, then garnish with skittlies and serve in shot glass. Better to make people drunk and forget this shi**y blm propaganda, then to have them put up with this sober.
This has Great Potential. I was afraid to watch it - but sucked it up and clicked play. Being able to have events re-created so that you can see and hear them from a virtual first hand perspective brings a level of clarity that you wont get by simply listening to the murderer's one sided version of events and a bunch of people who werent there to witness, but only heard the screaming and a gun shot. I don't think anything here is misleading. You're able to hear the phonecall, the assailants comments, as well as the warning from the person on the line - "we don't need you to do that" I was immediately aware of the circumstances. Dark Rainy Night... some kid in a hoodie... wondering why some guy in a truck is following him. Who wouldn't run? I would have. If I got in my truck right now and started stalking some random person... maybe one of the "he dindu nothin" pplz in the comments... it would be a problem. I am trying to keep my personal opinion of the events out of the review of the usefulness of this experience. To be able to see the events play out. I can totally see the usefulness of this type of thing in the future. Granted, you don't really need to see this in VR, but it does a lot to express the gravity of the situation. To see events play out in order, hear the worry, urgency, alarm, fear in the voices of the 911 callers. Seeing them in their homes, apparently having been in the middle of a routine evening.. nothing unusual until screams and gunshots. It definitely paints a picture. As they say, the devil is in the details - and a lot can get lost or misinterpreted once the media and trained lawyers start misconstruing those details. I can see where something like this could help reign things in.
It's basically a remake of the 1982 film of the same name that starred Adam West. However, despite the title and Adam West origins, it has nothing to do with Batman. The graphics are nice, but the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. Basically buy this only when it's on a Steam sale, otherwise, pass. Let's Play - One Dark Night - Full walkthrough, no damage
From the makers of JFK Reloaded comes their next inovataion in historical recreation. They painstakingly mapped the street and 7-eleven that the historic killing took place. I personally like the touch that you (as Zimmerman) have to follow Trayvon with realistic stealth mechanics through multiple alert phases. It's an especially nice touch that you can use any of the guns in Zimmerman's possetion not nescisarily the one used in the case.
Experienced this on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers and it worked fine, although touch controllers are not needed
So this is is a 5 minute seated, VR cinematic experience, with a beginning 2D video to setup the start of the events of that night. It's like a mini 48 hours or other news real crime drama re-enactment of the killing of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman, minus any editorializing. Unlike the troll reviews that litter Steam, there is absolutely no bias in this crime-reporting production. Everything depicted is exactly from eyewitness testimony or 9-1-1 calls (or the 2D video mentioned above). There is no commentary on what happened. Just a layout of the premises and the setup of the events from that night. The actual killing is not depicted. There was no known independent eyewitness testimony of that. No guesome images. Just the facts only reporting, which is then re-enacted with avatars in VR and building layouts. I think it is worth the download if you're interested in this event. But it has no entertainment value. It's really just information presented in VR. I recommend it for that purpose.
