“A story about cat girls … with bite.” Nekos have evolved in the shadows of human society. Beautiful. Mysterious. Chaotic. And now, three of them live with you. Will you be able to get past the stigma and grow closer to them? OmOneko is a tale of cat and mouse... and rats.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
When our main character finds himself as the owner of three nekos – cat girls – his quiet world is suddenly beset with the conjoined problems that having three cats and girls in the house can bring.
Overcoming both everyday and not-so-common difficulties, will our main character finally find peace and stability again—and maybe something more?

Such a wonderful visual novel. I can't believe this is free, it's criminal that it is. honestly. I have no words other than absolutely fantastic. Just fantastic!
Just more proof that some of the best Visual Novels are free! It's interesting how it goes against the usual stereotype of catgirls and they're seen more as animals in this world - makes a refreshing change from the norm. Would love more stories from this universe!
amazing soundtrack!

really solid so far
This is a nice visual novel. It has interesting story and the best part is that it's free.
(I haven't quite finished the game yet but I'll likely update this when I do!) **I do recommend reading this VN for yourself, completely blind.** This game was recommended to me via a Twitter Thread and its honestly been weighing on my mind after doing the Shimi route as my first and seeing all the choices. -- This VN is a really interesting read, being essentially a spin on "catgirl" VNs and showing them as if they were Real and based off mostly Cat, less girl. Their english is Fragmented but they can understand it quite well, akin to how it feels to own a cat. Along with this, the characters feel insanely Real, Like everyone had someone like Gubo (i forgot his name), Flirty and unserious who can go a bit far in his pranks but overall a fun guy and can really lock in. -- (SPOILERS FOR SHIMI ROUTE) The message of the Shimi route of "Using old items to fuel new lives is what the dead would have wanted instead of wallowing in misery" is a message thats quite rare in most media (I only remember it also being present in Blackberry Honey.) Along with that, the consequence of bringing in a stray leading to both of them being in a world stuck inbetween is a strange message but it does accurately fit when two "forbidden lovers" get together, being with anyone else feels alien and it feels like the world doesn't accommodate you anymore. --- However, the only issue is the fact that getting all achievements requires quite a good amount of tedium (replaying routes and chapters until all ??? are removed.) But other than that, I would **highly recommend** playing this game for yourself, and maybe even referring others to it.
Great heartwarming story.
I feel like I've climbed a mountain or something.
