“A story about cat girls … with bite.” Nekos have evolved in the shadows of human society. Beautiful. Mysterious. Chaotic. And now, three of them live with you. Will you be able to get past the stigma and grow closer to them? OmOneko is a tale of cat and mouse... and rats.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
When our main character finds himself as the owner of three nekos – cat girls – his quiet world is suddenly beset with the conjoined problems that having three cats and girls in the house can bring.
Overcoming both everyday and not-so-common difficulties, will our main character finally find peace and stability again—and maybe something more?

Did 100% on Itch and replayed a few chapters on Steam. First pure VN I've ever finished, can't say how it compares to others in the genre but the writing is stellar. Great attention to detail - all the tiny jabs at things that happen/get explained in parallel routes greatly reward paying close attention to the dialogue. The SinKitty comic is great, hope to see more of it in the future. The artstyle of the game is...fine, don't have a strong opinion on this one. Some parts of sprites feel off, but it's just a nitpick. The music is rather simple, which isn't bad as you're not supposed to focus on it anyways. The game is rather linear with few choices along the way, but that way it makes them feel more significant - you get a choice, you need to pay attention to what you're about to do, as it WILL have consequences. Overall, I strongly recommend - a very solid experience with no glaring problems, and it's absolutely free at that. The dev team has really proven itself with this one, and I'll patiently wait for Part 2 and anything else they're planning to release.
I don't tend to write reviews. I just don't. But for something like this? It'd be absolutely unfair not to. OmOneko is an absolutely wonderful piece of work - one that I would happily pay $10 - 15 for. But the fact that it's free? It absolutely boggles my mind. The game wonderfully balances a mix between sweet, adorable fluff and heart-racing thriller moments ("What do you MEAN she's got an infection???" - Me, my first playthrough) and I very happily blew 10 hours of my weekend without even realizing it as I tore through my first playthrough. I cannot wait to see what else this story has waiting for me!!

I got recommended to play(read?) this by a friend, and I haven't gone through that many VN's, but I just fell absolutely in love with everything about this one! It's very good; the characters have a lot of depth to them that one sees unfold as the story progresses. Along with that. the universe this takes place in feels pretty fleshed out too, and I look forward to seeing more of it in the future. Highly recommend this to everyone to give it a look-see!
Didn’t think a free VN would hook me like this.Good pacing, thoughtful writing, and the vibe is pretty unique. Definitely stands out.
I LOVE MY CRUSHED TOMATO WILDGIRL AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Didn't finish yet, but i'm really liking this so far, very cute and can feel deep on the right moments. Let's see what lore there's yet to uncover! ------------- edit 1 (still haven't finished the game yet, 12.1 hours in now! possible lil spoiler ahead) :
We gotta let the golden cat cook!
------------- edit 2: I just finished it I... don't know what to say, just go play it if you haven't already spoilers ahead!
PLEASE DON'T DO ANYTHING TO CLAWDIA I BEG YOU DON'T HURT THE PRINCESS AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY END OF PART ONE WHAT DO YOU MEAN, THERE WILL BE A PART 2????? WHEN, HOW, WILL IT BE ANOTHER GAME, AN UPDATE?? WHAT!?!? there was another option that would give me a direct simple "happy ending", i know it, i clicked on it at one point, so i guess this "ending" i got is the true clawdia "ending" right? are all routes like this? do all of them have a "true ending" that is just a cliffhanger to part two? Now i need more Clawdia.
Wanted Clawdia, but got Mrs. Shimi Short-Tail instead, and i'm glad i did. Wildcat <3
Honestly I was expecting this to be another generic run of the mill VN involving Catgirls. But im very happy to say that is one of the best reads ive had all year, there is so much care and effort put into this 5 year project and im glad i got to read it. Almost everything is handmade, from the lore to the art and story it all Oozes with love. im writing this before finishing it ( i still have 3-4 more endings to get) because i truly cannot fully express how much i enjoyed this. P.S the OST slaps
