why is the steam banner and cover art like that (awesome game so far)
i love ok ko, the show was one of my CN favorites so i was sad when it got cancelled, i rlly enjoy the gameplay of this and the pow cards, the artstyles really charming too imo, though the 100 percent was tedious i love this game and show to bits
Super fun brawler game. I'm not too familiar with the cartoon, but it was still enjoyable to play.

I originally bought the game mostly to support the show's creator, but I never got a chance to play it until recently. I love the art style, I love the involvement of the show's VAs, collecting the different POW cards, and the story feels like it COULD fit somewhere in the show. Admittingly, the gameplay can get a little repetitive after a while, but it doesn't do much to take away from a fun game.
esta bueno el juego solo que creo que algunas palabras estan bugeadas porque aveces no aparece el dialogo cuando dicen algo pero buen juego
Pros -Very faithful to the cartoon -Looks beautiful -Great voice acting -Nice game loop, doing the chores in the morning and a main quest in the afternoon. You get money for your chores and main quest and finish until the next day. The money can be used to unlock character cards after which you can do side quests for those characters. With enough side quests complete you unlock the character to be used in the battle mode. There is also the occasional boss battle. You have a nice bit of freedom each day to stroll around and explore the plaza although there is not a whole lot to do. -Special extra unlocks if you watch the cartoon. Basically if you watch season 1 of the show there is special code hidden in each episode and there is place in game where you can enter the codes to get some extra items. This will be con for some and I was initially thinking the same but the episodes are only 10 minutes long and it was actually a bit of fun watching the show again, it certainly adds a an extra dimension anyway. If you don't feel like watching the show then there is guide available with all of the codes. Cons -Battles get very repetitive but there are a few boss battles to help with this. - Combat controls are a bit fiddly with jump being the same as roll. Basically on the controller you press A+Up to jump and A+Down to dodge roll. Maybe it was just me but I was triggering the wrong action a lot of the time. Maybe if the analog stick is not at the very extreme its easy for the game to detect the opposite action from the one intended.
Birthed from a really neat little show on Cartoon Network, this quaint little experience is a rather relaxing game with a charming art-style, and plenty of old-school game-fun to be had around Lakewood Plaza! There's also secret POW Card part codes hidden in episodes of the show, but there's guides to help for that now since the show no longer really airs. I mean hell, Cartoon Network came to care so little about OK K.O. that they didn't even go to the trouble of advertising the finale as, you know, THE FINALE. (Why give a crap about good, original shows when you can just rely on the Teen Titans Go cashcow, right?)
