I bought Nothing Together because the concept sounded ridiculous. After playing it, I can confidently say that it is still ridiculous. And that's exactly why it works. In a gaming industry filled with massive open worlds, complex progression systems, battle passes, crafting mechanics, skill trees, and endless tutorials, Nothing Together takes a bold step in the opposite direction. You do nothing. That's it. No enemies. No quests. No resource management. No complicated mechanics that require watching a 45-minute YouTube guide before you understand what's happening. Just pure, uninterrupted nothing. What surprised me the most is how entertaining such a simple idea can be. The game somehow turns doing absolutely nothing into a challenge. The longer you sit there, the more invested you become. Suddenly you're paying attention to things you would normally never care about. Time itself becomes the gameplay. The multiplayer aspect makes the experience even funnier. Most co-op games are built around teamwork and communication. Here, everyone gathers together with a single shared objective: Don't do anything. It's strangely satisfying knowing that dozens of people around the world are united by the common goal of complete inactivity. The game also deserves credit for fully committing to its joke. It knows exactly what it is and never pretends to be anything else. There are no unnecessary features trying to distract from the core concept. The entire experience is built around one absurd idea, and it executes that idea perfectly. What starts as a joke quickly becomes an experiment in patience, self-control, and curiosity. You launch the game expecting a quick laugh, and before you know it you're genuinely invested in seeing what happens next. Will your life change because of this game? Probably not. Will you save the world? Definitely not. Will you spend more time than expected staring at a screen while technically accomplishing nothing? Absolutely. And somehow, that's worth recommending. Pros: - Does exactly what it promises - Surprisingly entertaining concept - Hilarious with friends - Uniquely relaxing - One of the most honest games on Steam Cons: - You may accidentally start questioning the meaning of gameplay itself Final Verdict: A game about nothing that somehow manages to be something.
