This game is just so bad. I don't mean in a, "this game made me feel bad, so it's good" kind of way either, it's just plain bad. The graphics are awful, the sound is... not great. The variation within each map is lazy at best which makes navigation difficult. Every few steps a ridiculous neon pink one legged women's toilet sign blocks your path, and you have to decide between being "dysphoric" because of stupid stuff like that you can't cope with not wearing nail polish, or really wish you could wear a frock. This is interspersed with extra bizarre commentary along the lines of, "Woe is me, I feel like a pervert because i got a stiffy when i put on a dress", or loads of stuff about being very sad because your character apparently couldn't be bothered to shave off his beard before leaving for school, and has big hairy man arms. Rather than hiking up your "gender dysphoria" meter, you can alternatively "drown out" such crippling thoughts by... listening to loud music. For some reason, listening to a song drains like 20% of your battery. And if you run out of phone battery, you seem to basically just die right there in the middle of the hallway as soon as the next sarcastically pink toilet sign gets in your way. You can charge your phone , but only rarely, the charge points are not marked on the map even after you've found them, and for some inexplicable reason the entire plug socket fuses after you use it i guess since you can only use each one once. You'd think that anyone this reliant on their phone, which is clearly on its last legs as it doesn't hold a charge, would have thought to invest in a portable battery pack, at least ... but apparently not. The inner monologue just seems weird, creepy, and definitely not healthy. At one point your character froths and rages about how jealous he is of the girls at school simply for being born female, and it all comes off as lv9000 incel mentality, realyl creepy and it definitely doesn't make me empathise in the slightest with what this bloke is going through. Overall ratings (out of 10) : Graphics 1 Sound 1 Navigation 2 Character development: 1 Narrative: 2 Premise: 1 Gameplay: 1 Overall rating: 1 Even for free, this isn't worth playing. The whole thing seems like some angst-riddled teenager wrote it instead of posting to their DeadJournal. Usually I try to be positive about people being creative even if what they've made is a wee bit crap, but this is just so astoundingly bad that I really can't shore it up. I can see why it's being removed from Steam soon, as I'd be embarrassed to have this on Steam for everyone to see too. I hope that whoever made this can get the help and support which they so obviously need, and can get past categorising people (and themselves) using such obviously sexist stereotypes.

https://youtu.be/fOVPaGGC6rs Mechanically a bit threadbare is to be expected with such a personal story being delivered by the themes and narrative.
Open your eyes and close them and open them again....How many are looking through your eye(s)....one....more than one then there is only a number and the number of them is ONE number.... Be glad you are who you are and you are the only unique special person (number) of you that is!!!!!!! Do not lose hope and take your game elsewhere because if you go you will ruin it for me.... I need you to play so that the game of all lives can continue....everybody who ever and what ever and celebrate every precious moment I dare not end previous statement
Before I played No One Can Ever Know, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Thank you for making this game. The truth you shared with each world touch my heart so much.
I played this game for sixteen minutes and started crying
The most meaningful and poignant game that I will never be able to play for very long because it makes me feel too sad. This is an absolute must play and is a criminally underrated answer to games being art.
I liked Quantum Bummer Blues more than this one but it's still a shame this game is gone from steam. I hope you keep making games.
