Really enjoying new music rhythm game! Gameplay is tight, visuals are cute, and the song selection is great. Perfect for quick sessions or longer play times, it's definitely worth checking out for fans rhythm games.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This is actually several layers of cancer and cringe piled on top of each other to produce what might be one of the cringiest things on Steam. Ok. Let's break it down. This is a CCG (very badly made CCG) based on V-Tubers. What's a V-Tuber, you may ask, because if you don't know what a V-Tuber is so far then you've had a wonderful life. But since you asked, let me make your life worse. A V-tuber is a middle aged balding man who pretends to be a little anime girl on the internet. Okay, that's a lot of cringe. It gets worse. This is not made by the middle aged men who pretend to be little anime girls on the internet. This is a fan-fiction game made by middle aged men who simp over the other middle aged men who pretend to be little anime girls on the internet, and pretend they go on dates with those middle aged men who pretend to be little girls on the internet. I just threw up a bit. Let's talk about what the result of all this simping means for you, the gamer. And surprisingly, it's not good. "NIJICA" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! Most PvP games on Steam fail. Very few of them ever go viral. This game failed because the developer expected it to become "virally" popular without creating any actual reason or compelling features. This doesn't do anything that other games already do better. There's fierce competition in the PvP game arena... and I'm not referring to players fighting other players. There's thousands of PvP-only games but only a tiny handful of them are successful enough to attract and keep a wide player base. This game failed to compete and didn't get enough people to stay active. Despite being free, it did not have what it takes, it's as simple as that. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the Game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. The graphics are lacklustre because this was designed for mobile phones, not gaming PCs. Whenever a product is designed to run tolerably on 5 year old iPhones, it's obviously not going to come close to the minimum quality standards that PC gaming enthusiasts except on their cutting edge gaming rigs. One more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. PC gamers don't spend thousands on their gaming rigs so they can pretend they're iPhones. That alone is enough to disqualify this for recommendation. Now onto pricing and value. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
