A Slap in the Face to the Community. I loved the world, the combat, and the grind of New World: Aeternum. Knowing that everything I achieved, every hour I put in, and every dollar I spent is entirely erased because Amazon decided it wasn't profitable enough is incredibly disheartening. Zero Player Refunds: Amazon is walking away with our cash, refusing to offer refunds for a premium product they are actively breaking. Wasted Progression: Years of hard work, grinding, and building up characters are completely gone with zero offline fallback options. Amazon Boycott: This is a harsh reminder of modern gaming corporate greed. Because of this absolute disrespect to our time and wallets, I will no longer be purchasing Amazon Games titles or any other Amazon products. They didn't even bother to leave it in an indefinite maintenance mode—they are completely pulling the plug. Avoid this company at all costs.
