don't think i actually ever played this game
played this game so many years and loved it would recommend to anyone but the servers are down.... i think solo single is still available but miss this game!
If you are a fan of classic JRPGs then you will definitely enjoy this! Too bad the official servers are dead, I was too late to the party. You could still host an instance and play multiplayer with friends or play solo so that's a plus.

This game WAS fun, and previously deserved the hype it had, because there WAS a lot of potential in it. But the game is dead, no updates, no bug fixes, game lost a good portion of its content. It simply isnt worth the money to buy the game today. It USED to be worth it, I know I've put in a LOT of hours into the game, even before it came to Steam. As sad as it is, games like this should be archived and removed from listings if its in a state like this. It could be played solo, somewhat, but it was always designed as a 3 player MMORPG, with monster companions being added to hold out on the dwindling player base.
fun little game, the servers are pretty much empty, but you can host your own game, so if you have friends you can still play it like a co-op dragon quest
anyone who is a fan of the dragonquest series will probably enjoy this game. Also the different skills, battle, and stat mechanics are a little bit of a break from rpg video game norms, but they are in no way awkward. Before purchasing, be sure that you enjoy other retro-bit rpg titles as it's not going to entertain the average newcomer rpg player. Edit: game is worth playing simply to encounter the only enemy I've ever encountered in an rpg called a scorpigon. excelllent haha !
game is not free guys. you have to pay to play needs to be fixed so play can play the game with there friends without paying money to enjoy since the devolper is not feeling good. keep in mind that this cant cost money forever...
