About
Welcome to a neon world where every step could be your last!
You are a small, sunny hero, thrown into endless procedurally generated dungeons. Each level is unique—platforms, traps, enemies, and secrets are recreated each time you play. No two playthroughs are the same.
Jump across platforms, over chasms and deadly spikes.
Collect coins and find hidden treasures hidden in destructible blocks.
Evade patrolling enemies or destroy them by jumping from above.
Find keys to open locked passages and move on.
Destroy blocks—some hide rare coins and bonuses.
Collect shields for additional protection.
Every 5,000 points—an additional shield (maximum 7). A shield absorbs one hit instead of death.
Every 25,000 points earns an extra life (maximum 10).
Procedural generation – each level is created anew, endless replayability
Multiple jump system – use them wisely to reach hard-to-reach places
12 achievements – from the first jackpot to three levels in a row without dying
Global leaderboard – compete with players from all over the world for the best score
Stylish neon graphics – bright colors against a dark background create the atmosphere of a mysterious digital world
Left/Right Arrows or A/D – Move
Up Arrow, W, or Space – Jump (can jump in the air up to 7 times)
Up Arrow – Also destroys a block above your head
Down Arrow or S – Destroys a block under your feet
P – Pause
M – Turn music on/off
N – Turn sound on/off
ESC – Menu
Levels become increasingly difficult. More enemies, more traps, fewer safe paths. How many levels will you complete? Can you make it into the world's top 10?
Simple controls. Endless challenge. One goal: get as far as possible.
Warning: AI Slop Marketing materials for this product were produced with soulless AI generated content. The developer violated the Valve requirement to warn gamers about any use of AI slop in a direct attempt to use AI slop for profit.

Warning: Asset Flip! Neon Sunset is an asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated someone else's example/template/tutorial game, changed the name/reskinned a couple of things, and submitted it to Valve as if it was their own game.
This time Gamesforgames/Atomic Fabrik stole someone's Love2D platformer game tutorial and put their own name on it to try scam people out of money for someone else's game. Appalling, isn't it? Gamesforgames have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. The game features no proper level design or game/story flow/plot, as they opted to try to use samey repetitive procgen algorithms as a substitute for adding such content to the game, to avoid doing the important job of level/map design. As a result, the game doesn't actually have any content worth mentioning, just endless, boring, repetitive, soulless algorithmically generated sameyness. Developers must learn that procedural generation is not an acceptable substitute for content. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players, and the worst part is these weren't genuine players, these were the Russian fake review accounts that the developer paid to make the fake reviews. Since the fake reviews are all done, now the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
Warning: Review Manipulation! This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian, broken English or ChatGPT AI slop, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Due to the 2024 FTC ruling (16 CFR § 465.4, 15 U.S.C. § 45), these fake reviews are a violation of US Federal Law.
This kind of asset flipping isn't harmless. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name. Now on to pricing and value. Should you buy this asset flip? Is this really better than any of the 140,000+ genuinely made games on Steam? Of course not! Neon Sunset has the insane price of around $7 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Pure scam, trying to get $7 from stealing and plagiarizing someone else's game. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Because this is just a fake game/cash grab scam, and due to the sheer unethical nature of the developer, you should avoid this completely. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Gamesforgames.
According to Pelevin's philosophy, the entire material world and all the illusions we see are reflections of the light that ultimately comes from within us. The sun doesn't shine "on its own" for us; it merely makes visible what we project. Additionally, the neon sign
A fun, engaging game with great music, but the jumping physics are something else entirely. Part two
An endless arcade platformer with procedural levels. Find the key on each level and head for the exit. Your goal is to go as far as possible and rack up the highest score. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/92Ra_ryV4zU You can perform combo jumps, break blocks, collect coins, and grab power-ups. Earn a shield every 5,000 points, and an extra life every 25,000 points.
Okay this game kinda like dev's other game, but this one much easier. And get this, it even has a tutorial!!!!! Finally figured out how to clear out enemy NPCs lol. Music again super catchy, a total brain melter vibes. thx!
I love neon. And sunsets too. The locations in this platformer are really huge. Each one has 5 keys hidden, as well as a bunch of bonuses and enemies. A cool feature is that you can break blocks beneath you, creating new paths. Also, if monsters fall into them, they die. Pretty kind and fun game.
If you read the review and liked it, don't forget to give it a thumbsup;)
The further - The better♥️

Neon Sunset is a vibrant and captivating experience! The neon‑drenched visuals and retro‑futuristic aesthetic are absolutely stunning, while the chill synthwave soundtrack perfectly complements the atmosphere. Gameplay is smooth and engaging, offering just the right balance of challenge and fun. A must‑try for fans of retro‑inspired indie games!
As a small sun, you have to go through neon levels, dodging balls and other obstacles. Sometimes, the sun needs to destroy blocks. The player can get an extra life and a shield by earning a certain amount of points.
