Negligee: Spring Clean Prelude is a visual novel that has you running a lingerie store, aptly named, Negligee. To preface, this is the first game I've played in the series, and I've probably botched the order in which I should play the games, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Follow Hannah, her ex-boss Karen and her employees, Charlotte, Jasmin and Sophie and make it their mission to run a successful lingerie store! This game is quite unique, having you play in multiple perspectives, picking between the main five girls in certain scenarios. Most choices revolve around you picking lingerie for either the customers or the main characters. The options being, nice, naughty or neutral. There is a correct answer each time, so you have to analyze and choose wisely each time as to pick the appropriate lingerie for the occasion. The game has different paths you can go down, and successfully completing a path awards you with a card collectible of the character featured in the path. Quite different, but a very neat little feature. In the prelude or demo, there's three paths to choose from. Though they aren't very long, they give you enough of a glimpse to see what the full game has to offer. There's also a bunch of art, displaying the large cast of colourful characters available in the full game. There's no crazy NSFW scenes as I'm sure some of you were hoping, but that's why this is just a demo. The game has a pretty nice soundtrack too, I enjoyed it thoroughly, and it felt very fitting for the environment I found myself in. Overall, though this game probably isn't the first in the series, it is a pretty decent gateway into the series. It has more than enough content to potentially convince you to buy the full game and well, it's free! So there's no harm in trying! Absolutely recommend if you're into these sorts of visual novels!
