NBA 2K27

I am playing NBA2K since a lot of years. I am playing full offline in my nba. I tried now 3 days to adjust the game in a way that I can have fun with. I can just give a clear warning to everyone who wants to have a nice basketball experience without much stress. Adjusting the sliders in all different ways, shooting with meter or without, disabling the ACE for coach etc. etc. Nothing helped. This game feels just like stress. I tried to adjust sliders for AI. They end up shooting either 75%FG or 25%. There is not much inbetween. I can practically not defend them, especially the stars. In the other way around, thanks to the new timed dunks, Giannis for instance is failing the dunk around 40% of his attempts. The 3 point shooting is a super disaster. I use button shooting, as mentioned I tried to configure it now in a lot of ways. In my opinion it is not possible to have a constant shooting in this game. AI is in the defence also super overpowered. I can not get across defenders, no matter how I change the sliders. General point since years: Why we can not fully turn off the half time show? It is so annoying in all these games to go trough this boring stupid presentation. And even the studio is exactly the same like in 2k26. There should be possibility to just turn it off. It adds a lot of minutes to each game and it is totally without any sense. Same since years, start of 4th quarter, one is not able to make quick substitutions. Because the Assist of the game crap is shown. If you push for skipping that, you have no time before the quarter starts anymore to do quick subs. I do not recommend this game as it is now. The whole shooting and Defense of AI is just frustrating. I do not believe in a skill gap here to be honest. And if it is a skill gap, I do not want to spent months of learning whatever. My profile is offline gaming and enjoying kind of a NBA Arcade/Simulation. In the 2k titles over last 10 years this worked usually fine. In 27 i feel everything is now very unfair and that the player has no real impact on the game.

I really want to give a positive review to this game but: Not really feeling it so far Honestly, I'm not enjoying NBA 2K27 as much as I expected to. The biggest issue for me is the dunking. The dunks just don't feel natural or satisfying. A lot of the animations feel awkward, and sometimes it feels like I'm watching an animation play out rather than actually controlling the player. There are some things I like about the game, but the overall gameplay just isn't clicking with me right now. Hopefully it gets better with future updates, because I really want to enjoy this game.

Finally, a really good NBA 2K game. I understand why all these kids dislike it — they can't just shoot nonsense like their god Steph Curry anymore. This year, you actually have to use your head a little to be efficient.
