very very very nice
12 minutes is how long the game held me those 12 minutes were worth it, but no more. You get a beautiful island where you can walk while listening to a calm music. Quite nice, but: - you can't walk 90% terrain. There are just set pathways bounded with rocks. Did not save me from glitching into textures and not being able to get out though - Very quickly you will notice that all the scenes are basically using the same or very similar assets - The game, it seems, wants you to make certain photos and find collectible items, and seems to lock some progress with them. I have zero incentive to do so - you can't disable motion blur and mouse smoothing seems to still work a bit even when disabled - feels "heavy and janky", as almost any other unreal game. Perfomance is good, though Upsides? - Well, pretty. Pretty assets, fog everywhere, theres a change in weather, it is very nice to see the sun after walking in the fog If this game allowed me to walk anywhere and had no stupid objectives - I guess, I would spend twice as much time in it and leave a positive review. That's the only time in my life I launched a walking sim - just to relax in the end of a busy week. Let me walk without boundaries - and don't bother me with boring objectives.

To preface my review, I don't think this game was meant for me. You get to walk around and explore Iceland while also taking pictures which are saved to your computer. I am a person who likes more to do than just explore, but I downloaded the game a few years ago as one of my first Steam games to try out for fun. This is not a negative review though! In terms of what the game is actually is meant to be, its great. The scenery is gorgeous; you can feel every drop of hard work that went into creating this beautiful landscape. A lot of the map is shrouded with fog, giving your pictures an unique flare if used to your advantage. This was my favourite part of the game actually. You can also collect green "totems" off the ground, I'm not sure what collecting them all does yet though. If you need a game to relax and truly explore, unlike me lol, this is definitely your game. Even the soundtrack works perfectly to put your mind at peace. It's a shame they took it off the Steam Store, but I did want to get this bit off my chest considering the 5-6 years I've played this very on-off lol. Truly a job well done for the dev team! The only complaint I have is the amount of invisible walls you encounter on your playthrough, it would be nice for some minor indication before I realize I can't actually take a photo from that angle. Honestly, I would've enjoyed the game more if this was not the case. Might still check out some of their future games, just for the splendid graphics.
