This game turned out way more engaging than I expected. On the surface it looks like a simple adult visual novel about relationship drama, but the writing actually leans into emotional tension in a pretty grounded way. Instead of rushing straight into shock moments, it slowly builds that uncomfortable feeling of doubt, where every small interaction starts to feel suspicious in hindsight. What I liked most is that the choices don’t feel purely cosmetic. They subtly change how the story unfolds and how the protagonist interprets what’s happening, which makes replaying different routes genuinely interesting rather than just checking boxes. Some dialogue and scenes are a bit rough or repetitive, but it oddly fits the tone of someone mentally spiraling and trying to make sense of betrayal in real time. The art is simple but expressive enough to carry the mood, and the soundtrack does a solid job reinforcing that slow emotional collapse feeling the game is going for. It’s not a polished AAA experience, and it doesn’t pretend to be, but there’s a surprising amount of narrative effort here that kept me invested longer than I expected.
