My Name is Addiction

It's not one of the best games I've played, but surely one of my favorites. A masterpiece, distributed for free, even though I wouldn't hesitate to buy this game for 100 dollars even. This game doesn't have amazing graphics, but the messiness of its visual style fits perfectly. After all, text is the main bit here. I have no idea if game's music is an OST or just random songs, but anyway, it's also perfect. I acknowledge that text is pretentious sometimes, but I can forgive that. After all, it does its job almost flawlessly. It's one of the games which you'll either absolutely hate or it'll lie deep into your soul for the rest of your life. No inbetween.

Booted up My Name is Addiction thinking it’d be just another edgy indie VN. Instead, I got hit with atmosphere and vibes that stuck like glue. – Writing is sharp, heavy, but never boring — it knows how to sting and how to flow – Characters feel raw, like they crawled straight out of someone’s diary – The visuals are simple but drip with mood, every screen feels like a confession – OST is subtle, the kind that sneaks under your skin instead of blasting in your face – It’s not a comfy game, but it is the kind of story that lingers in your head when you’re trying to sleep 9/10. My Name is Addiction isn’t just a VN, it’s an intimate little punch in the heart wrapped in neon glow.

Игра «My Name is Addiction» — психологический триллер с неожиданным сюжетом. Главный герой, страдающий от зависимости, погружается в хаос реальности, где каждый выбор меняет исход. Графика мрачная, атмосфера напряжённая, звуковое сопровождение усиливает тревожность. Игра заставляет задуматься о последствиях слабости, но некоторые сюжетные повороты кажутся шаблонными. Плюс — глубокая тематика и напряжённая атмосфера. Минус — ограниченная длина и не всегда логичные решения. Подойдёт тем, кто ценит психологическую драму.
