MOUSE: P.I. For Hire

8 mozzarella out of 10 PROs: visual style, music, guns and gunplay, real world references, lot of cheesy puns. CONs: game is a bit overextended, detective part coul've been better, can't say that I was thrilled with a story, lot of cheesy puns.

[h1] ENG [/h1] A great example that shows how modern boomer shooters should be. Instead of offering just a couple of new weapons and a few new locations, [b]this game delivers its own original narrative and storyline, perfect voice actors, music, mini-games, and more.[/b] There are no obvious downsides, except maybe a bug that occurs when trying to take a photo, some extra grind for a couple of achievements, and the overused black-and-white filter that’s present throughout the game. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [h1] RU [/h1] Отличный пример того, какими хотелось бы видеть современные бумер-шутеры. Когда игра предлагает не просто пару новых оружий и смену локаций, но и способна предложить [b]свой вариант оригинального повествования и сюжета, идеальных актеров озвучивания, музыку, мини-игры и прочее.[/b] Сложно отметить явные минусы, за исключением бага при попытке что-то сфотографировать, излишнего гринда ради пары достижений и приевшегося черно-белого фильтра на протяжении всей игры.

I liked it for a while, but then it drug on and the lack of enemy variety, even though they had new skins, really made it feel like a slog at the end. Great concept and fun, it just needed to end 5-10 hours earlier.

Distinguersi dalla massa non è semplice, soprattutto in un genere come quello degli sparatutto FPS. In questo caso però abbiamo l'eccezione perché MOUSE riesce a distinguersi e lo fa con uno stile veramente unico. Descrivervi questa esperienza sarebbe riduttivo nei confronti di questo titolo, quello che posso consigliarvi è di provarlo assolutamente per la sua unicità. La trama si intrica in diversi casi che dovrai risolvere per arrivare alla soluzione finale, i nemici sono vari e le armi pure con ognuna i propri potenziamenti. Ci sono alcuni livelli che tenderanno alla follia e sarà assurdo giocarci, le citazioni e gli easter eggs si sprecano e verso L'Italia in particolare ovviamente non mancano (ce n'è una davvero clamorosa), gli aneddoti ed i giochi di parole col formaggio vi strapperanno qualche risata. Ringrazio l'amico Alby per avermi permesso di giocare a questa esperienza PAZZESCA!

Sadly cannot recommend. I really want to because it is beautiful and whitty. But sadly it just becomes a chore. It goes from interesting, to boring, to annoying. Really wanted to like it but just missed for me. Maybe try it on a deep deep discount.

The presentation is obviously incredible. But it's really lacking in variety from a gameplay and enemy standpoint. There are a couple of stan-out levels here and there but overall you'll fight the same enemies the same ways over and over again.

Mouse P.I For Hire é um dos jogos mais geniais que já joguei, ele é um boomer shooter, porém com gráficos de desenhos da década de 1930, se tornando algo muito único. Mas por baixo do visual lindo tem uma gameplay muito boa, o jogo nunca deixa você cair na mesmice, pois sempre está te dando habilidades novas ou armas novas, as fases também são espetaculares, cada uma tem seu charme e sua identidade própria, você nunca se sente perdido pois os mapas são muito bem pensados, e caso você se perca você pode apertar "M" e ver o caminho. A única crítica que eu poderia dar é que em alguns momentos a história pode ficar um pouco confusa, ainda mais com todos os milhares de trocadilhos com queijo que o jogo faz, mas no fim das contas eu consegui entender tudo e acabou não me atrapalhando em nada. Mouse P.I For Hire não só é um dos melhores jogos que joguei esse ano, mas também um dos melhores jogos que já joguei na vida.
