[b]Pros-[/b] The art style is a unique approach, especially in a market with high-res, ultra realistic graphics. This creates a charming atmosphere that somehow plays perfectly into the story, despite its mature nature. The gameplay loop is fun and simple, with a variety of weapons to play in your own style while ensuring that nothing feels extremely under/overpowered to create a “meta”. [b]Cons:[/b] For such a good story, the ending is quite a letdown and pretty straightforward, which is not expected for the detective theme. Additionally, the cheese puns are a bit much for me. It was new and fun at first, but 2hrs in of non-stop cheese puns get old. [b]Who is it for:[/b] People who enjoy playing games at a speedrun pace and don’t mind a mature politically driven story. Similar games include: Doom(without the melee), Cuphead (art-style) [b]Verdict:[/b] For $30 at full price, it’s hard to go wrong with this game. Initially, I was worried that the political commentary would be boiled down to generic contemporary U.S. political commentary, as is common in modern media. But learning about the developers’ Polish background reframed my perspective and made the Nazi-inspired antagonists feel more like historical commentary than a contemporary political allegory. With a gameplay loop that constantly gives you dopamine and a story that keeps your attention, it’s a great play for the price with a mature theme to keep adults engaged.

this is the cartoon style i grew up with. this game is pure brilliance i love detective stories the graphics are total art work and the game play is epic, so satisfying. great job, this is a masterpiece of modern gaming
