this game has a beautiful and unique art style with simple gameplay and a nice story
It's a recommendation, but just barely. The game is a pretty straightforward shooter. The game is rather simple: Shoot all enemies in the area until they stop spawning, then move to the next area. The gameplay is fun, but simple, and you might get sick of it before the game ends. However, if you're reading this, the thing drawing you to this game is probably the art design (it's what interested me about this). The overall world design is lovingly crafted, but it has one big issue: It's very inconsistent. The game goes for a 1930's style atmosphere, yet, characters will frequently make random modern pop culture references (like quoting Scooby Doo or Star Wars), which feels like an unfunny nudge towards "nerd culture" that is totally immersion breaking. Also, they don't really keep their world consistent - they keep talking about cheese as a stand-in for alcohol (get it? They're mice!), yet cheese is also used as, well, cheese - and as a metaphor for just about everything, to really drive home the point they're mice (There are still cheese-strings attached, get it? Good, because I didn't). Overall, they keep sacrificing immersion to make unfunny jokes, which is really annoying. TL, DR: The game is not nearly as funny as it thinks it is, but if you're looking for a few hours of mindless old-school shooting fun, you'll find it here.
Super fun game; great vibes and good gameplay!

引导差,动作系统很粗,没有预期中的爽感,反馈都太弱了

I enjoyed the rubber-hose animation style for the art, very cool game !!
I got this on sale and I feel like I underpaid for the amount of "game" I got in the end. Never before have I played a game that "justifies" its artstyle as much as this, so many games have a catchy gimmick like an artstyle or interesting premise but fails to fill in the rest of the "game" this game more than justifies its existence and is a rare staple of good game design all around. I easily give this game a 9/10 with GREAT soundtrack with voice actors who absolutely were having fun in the booth, amazing artstyle and animation, great movement and gunplay (they effectively utilize the cartoony setting to its advantage), and good variety of environments to explore and findable secrets when revisiting. I only have nitpicks that take away from a perfect 10/10 score and they're all small and few in between that I believe a lot of people wouldn't even consider nitpicks to begin with but for me just added enough friction to reconsider giving this a completely flawless 10/10.
Дал этой игре шанс, но не впечатлила от слова совсем. Очень размеренный темп повествования. Скучный геймплей и неинтересные противники. Да тут есть классный визуал.... На этом и всё собственно говоря.
l liked how the game looks
