Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

I have really enjoyed playing this game. That said, this is a game that dies by a thousand cuts. There are so many small issues in this game and it's extremely frustrating. This game is $50 with a $25 DLC, with that price tag I expect a level of quality that just isn't present. This game crashes frequently, even without mods, plus there are many small bugs (like enemies spawning in unreachable places) that break the game entirely. Maps have TONS of invisible walls that break immersion. Enemy ai is weak at best, battles become incredibly boring after a while. The early game plays out exactly the same every campaign, and the main story is awful. There's hardly any voice acting, characters don't stand out in any meaningful way. All that comes together to form a game that is very fun when you start but gets worse the more you play. If the games base was a little more solid then maybe this would be a positive review, until then this will always be a negative.

On one hand: I have 522 hours in the game. The combat is good. The scales of the battle is good. Sieges are ok-ish, but they could really use some polish. Naval battles are ok. If the only thing you want is to fight, this game might be good for you. On the other hand: Outside of combat and violence, there is almost no interaction with the world. Almost no diplomacy. No real reason to speak with any npc ever. I ran out of mods to try and make the game more deep outside of combat, I really wish they would add more interactions with the world.

Honestly this game is a disappointment. Buy the original as its cheaper and you are missing out on nothing. This isn't what one should expect from a sequel in terms of improvement in quality. The added stealth mechanic sucks and you can't choose to disable it and there are several other basic settings and functionality that can't be customized that are annoying. If you haven't bought this already just buy the first one everything enjoyable about this series is in the original as well.

Türünde rakibi olmadığı için çok tembel bir şekilde "geliştirilmeye" devam eden, orjinal hali son güncellemeye kadar epey sıkıcı ama son güncelleme sayesinde başlangıç senaryolarıyla çok çeşitli ve biraz daha keyifli hale gelebilen, modlar ile ise onlarca saat ekrana kilitleyen oyun. Maalesef bu türde rakibi yok, tüm eleştirileri haketmeleriyle beraber Türk yapımı olan ve orta çağı bu denli hissettirebilen en iyi rpg oyunu.
