Preview after just a couple of rounds. You shoot chicken and get points depending on their distance. The only limitation is a timer and reloading of the weapon. Then it's all about your skills, at least that would be if it didn't have its issues. It's over pretty quickly and I've beaten the best record already. I also got some extra time, I didn't know how I got there. I used to play the Moorhuhn games as a child and many shooters over many years but the movement and hit boxes don't feel right, especially the distant chickens seem a little more evasive. There's also nothing interesting going on, it's bland compared to other titles.
Tags: Casual - Twitch - Shooter Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Lacks custom animations, charm and even some basic gameplay elements of the originals. Poor execution. There are two modes, a small retro mode and a somewhat 3D mode. You are stuck with your rifle and try to score high before timer ends. LIttle scripted events happen but they are not diverse and complex enough to really be a value added. The gunplay is not very satisfying and the chickens are not as cheeky as before. I would say to just skip this franchise altogether unless they decide to do it right for once. At least this had none of the DRM issues of the originals which is why I was holding on to it. I would rather play Major Mayhem at this point. https://store.steampowered.com/app/264340/Major_Mayhem/
