About
Monsters' Den: Book of Vengeance is a party-based dungeon crawler with tactical turn-based combat.
Each adventure targets an enemy of humanity, a unique final boss. As you progress through the floors of the dungeon towards your confrontation, you will battle enemies from diverse factions, collect loot and make choices on how to resolve encounters within the dungeon. Build the synergies between your team's skills and equipment to enact final vengeance. Success means unlocking new campaigns and new skill trees to try in your next adventure. If you've grown attached to your party, continue to play and optimise them in the infinite mode.
Taking inspiration from the fan-favourite Book of Dread, the Monsters' Den series returns to its old-school roots in this all-new title.
Unique skill system. Combine skill trees to create hybrid skills. Master more than 100 distinct class combinations and thousands of skill possibilities.
Hunt for vengeance. More campaigns and unique bosses than ever before.
Dynamic dungeons. Encounters can be resolved in multiple ways. Avoid alerting your enemies.. or choose to go loud.

Have been a huge fan since the Kongregate days. This is an instant buy for me. Game play is more similar to the OG Monster's Den and takes away the open world, which I prefer. Enjoying the changes to classes and the diff builds, which I'm just starting to delve into. Biggest issue for now is itemization, though I imagine it will be changing as the game continues to be worked on.
A good game, especially after the last update, as it allows combining more classes in a way to make sense. 0 Crashes so far!
I have played all of the previous Monsters' Den games and I enjoy them all. This one is a unique mix of classic Monsters' Den with a few additions from newer entries (and some new things such as class remixs). Pros: - Return to form with player portraits - Classic monster den gameplay without needing to follow a campaign story - Cool new class remixing feature - Visuals are simple, but good looking - Combat is fun and even in early access has tons of enemies - Traits are fun and add another stat to look for in loot Cons: - Some combinations of classes seem significantly weaker or redundant when compared to others - Loot doesn't seem to scale similarly to other entries and some legendary weapons seem a little bland compared to older entries in the series - This entry used AI artwork, though it looks good. - Leveling up feels less fun as you no longer unlock new skills to play around with (though having class remixing is nice)
Nostalgia aside, this game is great for newcomers who love party based dungeon crawlers. There are tons of gear optimizations and class mix & matches, You get to dynamically change difficulty in endless mode. The devs listen and constantly update the game to make it a better product.
I'm a big fan, love the series since Kongregate days!
The game is decent. Extremely short for me, maybe 10 hours of content max, dungeons get quite redundant but it's worth what I paid for. More will be added later, it's still early access after all.
Devs did great imo. feels smooth like first one but with a new interesting twist as well.
Аж олдскули звело, коли побачив "продовження" гри, яку колись грав у браузері через Kongregate. Був би радий трохи оновлень під стім дек.
Good addition to the original
