You play as a hero on a quest to reach the top of a mysterious tower filled powerful monsters. You will need to use your puzzle-solving skills to match 3 or more of the same colored gems together to defeat your enemies as you make your way up the tower.

3/10 A match-3 game with some combat/create collecting metagame. Good: - free So-so: - match-3 with typical bonus tiles - done a million times everywhere, including mobile - gfx are pixelated and look kinda okay, for a free indie game - music is so-so. Some of the tracks don't really fit a game setting - the "combat" thing is purely decoration since you don't control anything. When you match 3 objects of some color (e.g. red), the creature with that color will "shoot" at enemies. But the enemies never fight back or anything. You can lose a level by simply making a wrong swap on the board which doesn't create a line of 3 object of the same color Bad: - mouse is not supported! Instead it's a weird selection of keys. E.g. instead of Esc it's Tab that brings up the menu. Space acts as "confirm" (should be Enter). Shift as "cancel" (should be Escape?) Actually, it's just ridiculous. If it's a PC game, it should use normal visual dialogs with clickable buttons - (worst of all) you need to move a "selector" with arrow keys, press Space to select an object, then move the selector to the nearby object, then press Space to swap the 2 object. Cmon, it's the first time I'm seeing such a clumsy control scheme in a match-3 game! Instead it should be just a mouse drag of one object over another Overall, this game is almost unplayable, it's so uncomfortable with it ridiculous keyboard control scheme. Besides, why would anyone even want YET ANOTHER match-3 game. Yeah it's free but you can get Candy Crush Saga and literally thousands of similar mobile games for free with far better presentation and also far more interesting mechanics. stuff happens and I got no clue why or how. sometime it does not happen, sometime it does. yet i'm just repeating the same thing over and over... is this random? Matching 3 blue makes enemy kill me? matching 3 blue nothing happens? matching 3 blue make me attack the enemy? Same with red, teal, white, brown, bombs, skulls... it makes no sense. Monster you get are so random you can get a full team of 1dmg monsters somehow and you need to win at least one match to get any gems to make a new monster... and making monster either cost 100 of ALL gems or 100 of one gem... and you get a random monster with random stats... you also always die in one hit... and it's random when you die. a big meh. needs more explanation other than "it's your nightstand" on a useless object that serves no purpose. Reposting because devs bullied me into removing my previous (i just copy-pasted) review
A fun little match 3 game.
This game is great. I'm not always a fan of lo-fi, but the BGM absolutely hits the spot. I wonder . . . if I will make it to the top of the tower.
es muy aburrido, ademas que tiene unos controles sin sentido, para aceptar el espacio? el tab para dar atras?, porque no ponen como todos los juegos que el 95% ponen las mismas teclas para las mismas ordenes...
It's a simple enough game, match 3 gems and you score an attack, line up more or combo the gems for more damage, and if you continue chaining after winning on that level then you gain bonus exp. EXP levels up your monsters which increases their attack and literally nothing else, again, simple game. I am a little unsure on the mechanics of the non-gem items (Bombs and skulls) You can line up any kind of bomb with another 2 bombs of any type to set them off, but you have to be careful not to let it hit a skull or you will lose a monster for that run...which doesn't actually mean anything unless it would cause you to lose the whole game. You can also set off a bomb by having it be right next to a gem chain, which is nice. You don't lose monsters permanently, and you only lose the EXP you would have gained on that fight, so there is no reason to not just rush headlong into the dungeon and carelessly lose in order to gain more EXP and progress in the dungeon. You can always restart from the first, or last floor, you were on. After you've deliberately run headfirst into failure, return to the shop and spin for stronger monsters. (I think the stronger ones level slowly, but presumably have a higher max attack? Not that far in yet to discover if there is a level cap.) My main complaints are really minor. 1. The English would benefit from a proofreading session. It's not unreadable, and it's clearly not the focus, but I imagine that it could bother some people. It also hurts the fact you can restart from floor 1 to re-experience the story since that makes me wonder if the story WAS meant to be at least a LITTLE important, but that gets ruined by a lack of proofreading. 2. You can talk to your closet to change your appearance, but it would be nice if that was a menu rather than "I shall mash A until I get a protagonist sprite that I like."
