Monster Maze VR

This was actually pretty fun. It's a campy little VR experence with arm swinger motion and a wide variety of neat stuff in it. I wish I had thought of it. It has a few minor performance issues when you blast monsters, knocking the hmd environment away due to performance tanking. I think it's related to the animation when they die. Secondly, the sound is spotty and has "noise" and stutters. If those two issues are cleaned up this is a perfect little thing to scare the kids and teens with for halloween. It was actually well done.

Very cool, but very easy and short; Please do more stages as the last of the game is rather the fear.

I still like Monster Maze, after all these years. The shooting is just for fun, but it has great atmosphere and a decent length, for what it is. Rock on Monster Maze!

[b]Great[/b] experience for the Vive, I definitely recommend trying this game - one of the best Vive experiences I've tried so far.

It is a very short and a very simple VR shooter game, which I believe is targeted just for kids. The graphics are decent enough to create a cute spooky atmosphere. The bad thing is that, locomotion is only head-oriented and based on arm-swing. However that is not a big issue, because neither the game needs quick tough maneuvers, nor is it challenging at all.

Reccomended. It is immersive and it is scary. Very good armswing locomotion. I liked the game overall.

Not really a maze, but a fun halloween game for the VIVE! This makes me excited for Christmas :D

Updated review: I played the "Unknown Pharaoh" VR game and found this easter egg game key in the game. A very nice Halloween season game experience. Multiple experiences wrapped up in one game. HTC VIVE and the game ran fine on my rig. Monster Maze is a,find your way through the mazes, type game until you reach the end. It is a good VR Halloween-like experience through various levels. It has some jump scares and simple combat for some action. Worth the price, in my opinion, for a couple runs and to show off to family and friends. This has arm swing locomotion so it may not be for everyone although it was comfortable to do. Overall, Monster Maze VR is an enjoyable "scary type" experience. VR to me is about feeling like I am someplace else and being immersed in the envirinment. This game does accomplish that. Now go get some scares. Remember the developer of this game took a risk on us being a early supporter of VR. If you like lite scary gaming that is for a wide audience than this game is a no brainer buy. For the genre, graphics, and game play. 7/10. Game play video from a long while ago that was brightened/contrasted up for a better video viewing experience which hits the resolution quality. This is one of my favorite horror VR games but on the Valve Index the gun position is facing down, not upright. Can you please fix this? Until you fix this, I can't recommend for Valve Index users.
