ストーリーズ３が発売するということでセールされてたこともあり購入。 ストーリークリアしたのでレビュー ストーリーズ１既プレイ よかったところ ・モンスターの数が前作よりもちろん多い モンスター好きな人は普通のモンハンよりおもろいかも ・ポポにスーパーノヴァさせれる 前作同様遺伝で好きなスキル覚えさせたりできるので自分が好きなモンスターを魔改造可能 ・普通にストーリーおもろい ストーリーちゃんとしてる（ナビルー以外）別に見なくていいよって人もスキップ可能 ・敵がそこそこ強い 初見モンスターで三すくみわかりません状態だと普通にいい勝負でおもろい ・モンスター一体ごとに用意されてる絆技 原種、亜種はのぞくと固有のモーションで最高 ・ケイナが可愛い ケイナが可愛い 悪かったところ ・ナビルーがうざい 無能、うるさい、短気の３連コンボ、、相棒顔すんな、ほぼ受付ジョー ・ボルボロスが嫌いになる レアな巣なのに湧くな、卵でバッグに入ってくるな ・クリティカル運ゲー ネルギガンテにクリティカルでフルHPから１パンを２回連続でされたときはさすがに確定クリか疑った ・レウスが邪魔 自分はそんなだったけど三すくみをそろえようとしたらレウスいるせいでパワー１枠しかないのでパワータイプに好きなモンスターいる人はだるいかも（クリア後は外せる） ・モンスターによっては怒ってんのかまじでわかりずらい これはあんま気になんないけどわかんないやつはわかんない 全体的にあんまイラつくとこもないしおもろい良ゲー、フルプライスでゴミみたいな内容でしかもチーズに3年かけたバカゲーやるならこっちやろう。

Dont buy it . poor level and map design. I took 20+ med to kill last boss. Crackhead method can beat the main quest easily.

worst monster hunter game in the whole series being forced to have a partner which has not very effective damage against every other boss while getting onehit because their ai always loses head to head combat has to be the worst game design ive ever seen who in their right mind would force a non controllable partner for the whole game which is as useful as the average SOS player had a lobotomy

I don't recommend anyone waste their time with Stories 2, it suffers from back and forth story quests that feel more like padding and not at all that meaningful towards the actual story most the time which I will also add for a game with "Stories" in its name its not a very good one. I do enjoy the new and returning characters in Stories 2 and it has a great selection of monsters from the series just to add some good points for this sequel. Stories 2 tries to improve and evolve the gameplay from Stories 1 but fails in almost everyway and doesn't capture what made its predecessor so special. I recommend skipping Stories 2 in favor of Stories 1 or 3 as they are a more enjoyable experience in my opinion. side note: This game has character edit DLC vouchers like the mainline series does and I think this is a gross practice that needs to be abolished from the series, but to counter to that Stories 1 and 3 do not have these vouchers at all which means you can edit your character at anytime for free as much as you want.

If you are not a major MH fan then this game is absolutely awful. I have a lot of time in this game because I enjoy the franchise but after 21 hours I just cannot anymore. The combat is so bad. It's not just rock/paper/scissors. It's rock/paper/scissors + fork knife spoon. You need to remember or guess which type (strength, speed, tech) and which weapon (slashing, piercing, blunt) that each monster is weak to for EACH phase of combat. Diffferent combo if they are normal, get enraged, become empowered, etc. AND AND AND you need to know this for EACH BODY PART. There are something like 114 monsters in this game so you need to remember like 600 different combinations of what monsters and their body parts are weak to. I AM NOT KIDDING. this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ absurd. Also the characters all suck and make no sense. No one likes sassy cat. No one likes that character in ANY game unless you're like 5 years old in which case, ok, you probably also eat glue and laugh when horses fart. But whatever. All the female characters wear dresses and they don't GAF about the temperature which is also ridiculous. Running around GLACIAL MOUNTAINS and my monsters literally have to have a hot drink to not get paralyzed in combat and this 14 year old girl who is voiced by what sounds like a 50 year old woman is running around in a nightgown without a care in the world. GTFO with that nonsense.
