Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

As someone who had a blast playing the first one just recently as I wanted to get a better understanding of the story of the characters from the first game, it really goes to show the love and admiration the developers had for this game and the amount of improvements to list from this game to this first is honestly hard to list them all. The character models, environments, and just overall graphical quality has jumped significantly. The story is paced fairly well compared to the first while keeping the original charm of humble beginnings as well. As someone who has had an itch for a monster taming sim as of late, this and the first game have more than satisfied my needs to explore and experience a brand new fun action packed adventure. Overall. I give it a 9.5/10 so far.

Good content, good endgame/post game though a little grindy, I don't know what to think about the Monsterpedia being devided on low rank and High Rank, making you slay everything twice, besides that, pretty solid RPG.

Not that fun of a rock-paper-scissor style RPG. The story isn't interesting and the battles get old. The collecting aspect is fun I suppose but it's not enough to interest me. It's also missing cool aspects from the first game like the monsters changing color based on their elemental strengths. Multiplayer is pretty barebones.

Just finished the Story; such a well made game!!! This creature collector game situated on the world of Monster Hunter will inmerse you into the fun and satisfaction of being a rider, collecting eggs, and defeating monsters in a rock, paper, scissors mechanic turn based combat. I have never beaten a turn based game before, but this one was fun and challenging, added by a wholesome monster hunter story. It could be better in some quality of life aspects like moving genes in the monster itself (something MHS3 adds later on), but otherwise, such a greatgame with tons of content. I beated the main story with 36hours, and high rank barely starts now.

モンハンはこのゲームで二つ目でゲーム性がとてもおもしろく、ストーリーが作りこまれていて、見ていても、遊んでいても楽しい。モンスターを仲間にするなど、要素がとても多く、気づけば時間が溶けた笑 とても最高のゲームでした！ストーリーズ３もやる！
