MONSTER HUNTER RISE

I really made an earnest attempt to enjoy this game, but after sessions of being dragged all around by my friends to visit several vendors, pick up quests that mean nothing to me, wait in a que for some reason, watch the same meal being served a hundred times, all as prep to go out and chase a cool looking dinosaur minding its own business and beat it up until it cries and tries to escape us so we can start over chasing it to beat it up a couple more times so we can presumably make its carcass into a bikini. This game just really failed to click with me at every level of its gameplay loop.

played a ton on switch and some on pc. the grind through rise is rough, but sunbreak has probably provided some of the most fun i've ever had playing this game. the endgame is far too much fun for me and i love anomaly investigations with my whole heart... 10/10 game would recommend buying
