MONOPOLY GO!

Money Grab I’m seriously considering quitting Monopoly GO because the game has become almost impossible to enjoy. This has been the most frustrating and unnecessarily difficult batch yet. The partner event was a perfect example. For newer players especially, getting enough bags to actually participate was nearly impossible. You get them from the dailies and the occasional board landing, but that’s nowhere near enough to make meaningful progress. You can play constantly and still feel like you’re barely getting anywhere. At this point, it feels less like the game is challenging players and more like it is deliberately limiting progress to push people toward spending money. Events are harder to complete, resources are harder to earn, and the odds of getting what you actually need seem to get worse every time. I have no problem with a game having in-app purchases. That’s how free games make money. But there is a huge difference between offering purchases and designing the game so that free-to-play players feel like they have almost no chance of completing anything without spending. I’ve played Monopoly GO because it was fun. Lately, it’s becoming frustrating, repetitive, and exhausting. When an event requires an unreasonable amount of luck, time, or money just to have a chance at finishing, it stops being a game and starts feeling like a cash grab. This is the closest I’ve been to deleting the game since I started playing. If Scopely keeps making progression this difficult, they’re going to lose players who have been loyal to the game—not because we stopped enjoying Monopoly, but because we’re tired of being punished for not spending money.

Pay to win They’ve tightened the game up so much that it’s like impossible to win certain events without spending money. It used to be fun, you actually had more chances to win back then.

Pay to play. Warning, this game is very pay to play. Has a gambling flare to it…. But all you do is a card, token and or dice. VERY EXPENSIVE. ie 7.99 for 1300 dice…. Buyer beware.

It has gone downhill Feels more like a bad slot machine, not worth continued game play long-term.

Not worth the time Spent so much time on this game and it’s not worth it. Unless you spend money. The grinding doesn’t even help

Nothing like Monopoly!! Nothing like Monopoly this game sucks

Very dangerous I have only been playing this game for about five months, and in that time I have already spent more than $5,000. I wish I had understood how addictive and expensive this game can become before I ever started.The game is psychologically designed to make you think that spending $1.99 will get you a prize or help you win, then it becomes $9, then more and more. Before you realize it, you can find yourself spending money repeatedly, in a way that feels very similar to gambling or an addiction. Honestly, I find this game far more addictive than even TikTok battles. What makes it worse is that, despite spending thousands of dollars, there are no meaningful special perks or advantages for paying players compared with someone who doesn’t spend money. I am warning people because I wish someone had warned me. Now I feel like I’ve invested so much that I don’t know how to stop. Please do not start playing this game. I’m begging you. I hope Monopoly GO and Scopely seriously reconsider how they reward paying players! Where I came from the customers always right this game sees none of that

Super fun Easy laid back game, don’t have to talk to anyone or join a continuous team… only thing I wish could be changed is the dice multiplier, wish I could roll as high as I want as long as I have the spins available. I dont like the high roller, wish it allowed me to either choose when it is active or it allowed me to keep the set rolls I had previously. Rolling 20 or less during any team event is a waste, appreciate the consideration, thank you!

Cheaters They have game mode that incentivize cheaters and don’t take care of the cheaters at all. Then they say that have the ability to individually compensate players for issue and refuse to do it when they don’t stop cheaters from ruining your game. They need to remove the tycoon racers team game.

Terrible game, terrible customer support . Play this game if you want to play against botters, multiple accounts, landing on the lowest spin nearly everytime, 0 customer support. Trash……
