I recommend playing at night with the lights off and headphones brrrrr
Thanks to the Dev(s) for free copy to made a video about (still working on it) but the game ummm....it seems like a good START...the idea of it is really interesting and creepy but it seems highly "unfinished". Don't get me wrong...I jumped a "few" times and the INTRO music now haunts my dreams. Very cool idea...just a few polishes here and there. Could be an extremely interesting game!! Maybe since its based on Japanese folklore maybe have "history points" set up throughout the forest and visiting those will maybe give a specific "buff" when you encounter that "ghost" or "spirit". The history of the "spirits" would be really neat to learn

This is a scary horror game that scares from the first minutes. At the first launch, I died in a minute. But most of all I was scared by a girl who was covered in blood and flying. We need to find a wife, but this forest does not make it easy to find her. The controls in the game are simple, which is a big plus.
MITE - Terror in the forest - это хоррор.
Quite an interesting game for its price. Of the pluses I can note - 1.Good graphics 2. Realistic enough physics Can play on a joystick 4.Though simple, but addictive storyline 5. Low system requirements Advice to the author: Everything in the game is good, but not enough shadow mapping for realism and full immersion in the game Bottom line: If you want to try something and get emotions for not much money, this game is for you
has no meaning, but I send you straight to search for your relatives in the mysterious forest. * In fact, you just have to dodge the attacks of monsters who want to eat you hahaha
dude, will you do the second part?
This is one of those games where I'd put a "mixed" review. I'll recommend it because I believe this could become a really good horror game but at the moment I struggle to like it and mainly only because of the lack of sprint and the boring "jumpscares". Pros: + A solid game idea that just needs some polishing + A lot of different creatures + Simple but good mechanics Cons: - There needs to be a proper sprint mechanic (I explain more in my video review) - Stamina depletes too fast - The creatures appearing is meaningless, it appears, you walk away while looking at Mite and then wait for it to despawn - There needs to be more variation in the creature "jumpscares" First Look Review: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1779815953 Steam Curator Page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/10995314-Szamer%2527s-Collection/
I would say I recommend this game for the future. Right now the game is very stop/go where you must turn around to avoid a monster approaching/killing you. You cannot out-walk them so you have to use sprint, which is not much faster than walking. You also cannot walk backwards for too long or you will trip and fall (I've actually fallen over after stopping/turning around/taking one step backwards. Most of all, the stamina depletes very quickly and takes awhile to recharge, thus slowing down gameplay. Having said that, I like the concept of the monster not moving while you are looking at it, very similar to SCP's Peanut. The other monsters in the game do not seem to hurt you but instead make this oily substance splatter on your screen. I'd be interested to see where these monsters end up in the coming months. Overall, the potential is there. This is an early release afterall. I just hope that the stamina/running is balanced a bit more so you can actually get away from the monster as the stop/go got tiring after a couple attempts.
