Mistfall Hunter

Really cool game, however the devs are severely incompetent. There's one class that outperforms every class in every single way, and they release a balance patch that did absolutely nothing to that class. Apparently they've know Shadowstrix was busted since early playtests and just decided to do nothing about it, so if you don't run him you're not going to enjoy this game. Also there's the horrendous lag and other balancing issues but I've already lost faith in this game after their first patch.

pretty decent game 7/10 for the genre. stability issues off launch are to be expected, maps are decent with demi bosses and map bosses throughout. pvp could have more depth like D&D has but this combat plays more like enshrouded. no need for the negative review bombs game is fine and definitely worth the price.

As a person with little to no experience in this world of pvp and extraction, i had to share my thoughts. The bad reviews makes me scrunch my nose. Mistfall Hunter for me has become a new main game. I can immerse myself as a mage while also getting to experience the extraction that I've always been interested in, but never had the gut to try. It's a great game that offers many possible playstyles and build making. I advise everyone: if you're considering it, but kinda feeling meh about the bad reviews, to give it a try anyway. You might end up loving it. Do you like fantasy? Combat? Looting? Grinding to get the best gear? This game is all of it together.

game looks nice, has a decent gameplay loop and interesting additions to abilities for classes players know and love from many fantasy titles. that being said, the pvp can feel great or pointless at the same time. you get heals that heal you over time as well as 3 heals that provide up to 50% of your health each time. this makes a lot of fights last incredibly long and results in 3 to 5 groups in a death ball all spam healing until they run out of heals and finally start to die.... not exactly what i would consider fun. the devs in their official discord are some of the biggest man children i have ever seen, and have handled basic issues like a teenage girl. some of the most ridiculous decisions have also been made regarding the addition of an OCE server, which a decent percent of their playerbase are from (myself included). character progress cannot be transferred over, which isnt a problem outside of the fact that this includes any purchases made with money.... game seemed cool, like a new dark and darker but unfortunately its run by a bunch of clowns

The premise it really good. However, the game is extremely unbalanced between the classes. It would probably work better in a different format as the world is rather interesting.
