Missing Stars, ruhsal bozuklukları ve onlarla yaşayan insanları gerçekçi ama duyarlı ve saygılı bir bakış açısıyla tasvir etmeyi amaçlayan görsel bir romandır.
I am immensely drawn in by the story and the depth of the characters, especially Katja. I really want to keep learning about her character and what she's gone through, but I appreciate how natural the relationship between her and Erik is developing, how you can't just skip to understanding someone and being good friends, I love that mental health issues are highlighted but not in a way that makes them the focal point of a character, they all have many characteristics beyond their struggles. Though I wish we got more insight into Erik's therapy sessions and more about his backstory, I understand that the game is still being developed and there's more to come :) The art is gorgeous and so is the writing, I'm looking forward to playing the rest of the Gala options! (I've only done Katja's so far)

This ain't it, unfortunately. I've been following the development of Missing Stars since the very beginning, after playing Katawa Shoujo and having my mind blown by that amazing game, I wanted more. Having a plethora of mental illnesses myself, I was hoping there'd be decent representation in this game, and waited. And waited. And waited. For a game that began development in what, 2013 or so, you'd expect it to be ... done by now, right? What we got was an act 1 that has nearly no options in it, the ones we do get make no sense (I'd be going for one girl and still get another, even when replaying it), and there haven't been updates in forever. The updates we have gotten have been: Removing Lena's route. Making it look more polished. Please just finish all the routes before polishing act 1. Redoing sprites. Okay, great, now you need to go in and replace 'em all. Focusing on side characters. Do I even need to point out why that's an issue, when you should be writing your main character's routes? Somnova has asked for feedback. I would like to say I've offered my help 4-5 times as someone who deals with what most of the characters seem to deal with. Also, what's with not naming their disorders? It's not like they're dirty words. I get not wanting to label a character pre-emptively with something that might give away their personality, but isn't that the whole point? To subvert expectations of how their disorders affect them. So let the characters tell you in act 1. I think Jeanne mentions her tourettes, and that's it. The rest are hinted and, and not tastefully. Oh look, girl with headphones that's shy and sometimes nonverbal. Girl who hyperfixates on birds. Or, girl who's just "odd". Girl who's got perfectionistic tendencies and likely deals with SH. It's bad representation, and when offered a new perspective it's been shut down, I've been told their team has "everyone they need" already. Then they dropped Lena's route. They still refused to take literally any help I could give. At this rate I really highly doubt the game will ever be finished.

Pretty good gave me PTSD 9/10
To mirror what another person said, everything about this VN is extremely well made. Is it perfect? Maybe not, but I certainly like it.
This game is so ass I genuinely can't understand how it could possibly get 95% overwhelmingly positive rewievs (maybe cuz they're made by ppl who played 1.3 hours, eh?). There's nothing to the game's gameplay, In my 3 hours of playthrough (which is a lot for a visual novel) I had encountered exactly 1(!) option in dialogue. SON?! It's supposed to be a GAME and games have GAMEPLAY. I can't even tell a flicking ♥♥♥♥♥ to shuffle off, nor I can choose Lena's route cuz the developer can't handle more than 5 routes. AND THE 4chan made a better VN! It's a disgrace to the whole genre, hope author has a nice glow up and maybe stops focusing on millenial writing. Oh and the mentall handicaps are represented in such a bad way, that I genuinely couldn't even call them retarded irl. They're just... normal, yk. AND THAT'S AN EVIDENCE THAT THIS "GAME" CAN'T ACHIEVE IT'S MAIN PURPOSE FOR ♥♥♥♥. You better off playing Katawa Shoujo, if you wish for mentally ill gals. Or goon to Utsu Shoujo. Anything but ts
Still love this game and I can't wait to see more!
Definitely doesn't have the charm of the VN it was inspired by, but the end of Act 1 that I got (Anna) was reminiscent enough that I didn't mind the departures in form. The music is somewhat forgettable and the character designs are a bit more on the Western side, but not a bad cast in terms of character/personality at all. I'm hoping that it gets new content soon, I am genuinely eager to see the rest of the game. The writing is not obtuse, either, it's a light read, so it's possible to get through a route rather quickly. Choosing a girl is pretty straightforward, so I assume you can make a save before you "lock in" to play each of the routes. Solid VN choice and it warms a bitter truecel's heart to know that Steam Zoomers will have their heart broken by a certain brand of Katawa at some point, as well. Tl;dr I r8 3.3/5
