i cant even play the game it wont let me
I couldn't get it to run on my personal machine in the end on my machine because my GFX card was only 2GB - was the only spec I failed to meet. Talking to the devs, they're hoping to optimising the final game to run on 2GB cards so there's hope. Make sure you check your specs before you download - it's not a small install size! Provided you can get it to run though, you get a glimpse of what is one of the most fascinating digital wargame projects around right now. It's not the prettiest, but this tool is dedicated to the simulation, not the visuals. As for the tool itself - as others have said it's great for killing time and getting glimpses as to what the final game will be like, but don't expect endless hours of enjoyment. This is a technical test more than anything else.
Military Operations: Benchmark - Howlstorm's Tactical Breakdown
Developer: Military Operations Publisher: Military Operations Genre: Benchmark, Military, Strategy Release Date: June 21, 2018

Alright, fluffballs, let’s dive into Military Operations: Benchmark, where strategy meets tech demo. This isn’t your typical game; it’s a benchmark to test your rig’s mettle while teasing an ambitious World War II RTS. So, strap in and let’s see if this tech-driven battlefield can hold up under the icy scrutiny of an Alpha like me, Kiba Snowpaw.

Plot Summary

“Roam free across a digitally rendered globe, commanding troops, and watching battles unfold.”
There’s no deep plot here—this is all about strategy and scale. The setting is World War II, where you oversee massive operations in real-time. It’s all about testing how your system handles the chaos of war, from troop movements to large-scale battles.

The Studio
Military Operations may not be a big name, but they’re shooting for the stars with this. They’re carving out a niche in the RTS and military sim market, and this benchmark is their way of showing what they’ve got in the pipeline.

Characters
No deep characters here—just troops following orders. These units are your tools for waging war, and while they don’t have backstories, they’ve got grit. How they perform on the battlefield is entirely up to your strategic prowess.

Narrative Quality
This isn’t a story-driven game, but there’s a narrative of sorts in how well your rig performs. Every frame drop or crash tells a tale of whether your PC is ready for the full Military Operations experience.

Engagement
Your engagement with this title hinges on your interest in the upcoming game and your tolerance for tech demos. It’s not a traditional gaming experience—think of it as a tool to stress-test your system and preview what’s to come.

Structure
The structure is straightforward—run tests, roam the battlefield, and interact with units. It’s barebones but effective for its purpose: showing off what the full game might offer and testing your system’s limits.

Themes & Analysis
This benchmark is all about realism and scale. It’s a tech demo that hints at the future of RTS games, showing off large-scale simulations and detailed troop movements. But remember, this is a work in progress, and it shows.

Mechanics
Gameplay mechanics are minimal here. You’ve got basic controls for navigating the battlefield and interacting with units. The real draw is roam mode, where you explore the scale and detail of the simulations.

Visual Quality
Visually, it’s a mixed bag. The scale of the simulation is impressive, but the textures and animations are basic. This is a benchmark, after all, not a finished product. Don’t expect cutting-edge visuals—this is all about testing performance.

Performance
MilOps Benchmark is designed to push your system to its limits. Expect frame drops, crashes, and CPU strain—especially on older hardware. But if your rig can handle it, you’ll see just how well it performs under pressure.

World-Building
World-building isn’t the focus, but the scale of the simulation hints at a potentially rich, detailed game world. If the final product delivers on this promise, we might be in for something special.

Praise & Critique
MilOps Benchmark impresses with its scale and ambition but falls short in polish and performance. It’s a tool for a specific audience—tech enthusiasts and strategy buffs interested in what’s coming next.

Comparison
Compared to other benchmarks and strategy games, MilOps Benchmark is unique in its focus on realism and scale. It’s not as polished as Steel Division or Hearts of Iron, but it’s aiming for something different—something bigger.

Personal Evaluation
As an Alpha wolf with a love for strategy, I see potential in Military Operations: Benchmark. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re into RTS games and you’ve got a strong rig, it’s worth checking out. Just be prepared for a rough ride.

Conclusion
Would I recommend Military Operations: Benchmark? If you’re a hardcore strategy fan with a powerful PC and an interest in tech demos, yes. There’s a lot of potential here, and it’s worth exploring if you’re curious about the upcoming game. But if you’re looking for a polished experience, wait for the full release. Rating: 6.5/10 Pros: Ambitious scale, impressive simulation Cons: Performance issues, lack of polish

So there you have it, my fluffballs—a deep dive into Military Operations: Benchmark. Stay frosty, keep your claws sharp, and happy gaming!
非常的牛!非常的厉害!然而我非常的菜!
(BATA) This tool dose not work..yet.
Runs on 13 fps at best when you make any of the soldiers move, horribly optimized, no way to lower settings, and if I play the "roam" mode the thing crashes
