LA will be a breeze. You will get it done in a single night.
Paris will be more difficult. The traffic will be dense, the racers will be faster and they will be picking better lines. The race design and checkpoint location starts to test you.
This is not Midnight Club 3.
If you're lucky, you can breeze through half of the Paris races without a restart. The streets are narrow and you will have to near miss cars. Be careful on shoulders where the debris and lampposts are, if you hit them you have a high chance of losing control. This city demands precision--demands control. The races use catacombs, underground parking lots, and tunnels. Tight squeezes, but it can be done.
Now, Tokyo is where it gets hard. The difficulty spike shoots through the roof and you really start to notice the better cars your opponents are racing in. The traffic is very heavy. The rubberbanding will be even more noticeable because of the fast cars you will be unlocking (the ones you're opponents have already unlocked and are currently racing you in). Streets can be tight but is a bit more open than Paris, yet the traffic density and the layout of the races level that out. These races are confusing and demand more precision. You will be going fast and your opponents, faster. They will have the cleanest lines and you will have to restart many times.
This is not Paris.
I advise you to go through the race once, no matter your placement, and follow the computer for the best route. This will save you time by allowing you to memorize your path on the first race.
Follow that path until you win.
The unordered races will be the hardest to complete. You can't sabotage your opponents when they're driving perfect lines all around the city. You will need to follow a few different racers before you find the best route. If you're lucky, you might be able to follow the right racer the first time. Be careful on shoulders and going offroad. Many of the trees will destroy your run and the debris lying around will force your car out of control. The computers drive perfect so this is where you need to drive perfect. If you're lucky, you can get away with less than perfect.
After Tokyo is your final challenge, your hardest challenge, and your most frustrating opponent: the World Champion.
This is the World Champion.
