Nice concept, disappointing execution. I lost the game due to reaching 100/100 suspicion during act II. There was absolutely no way to decrease it, no save to go back to, and hardly any way to prevent it without restarting the game with trial and error. I doubt I will find the mood to replay a game with so much (terribly translated) text having to go through the same story and just guessing around the right choices. I felt like my first choice of caravan location decided everything from the start. Game seems like a nice sandbox "choose your own adventure", but ends up feeling like a linear text-based rogue-like experience.
Fun game, I got 3 endings already! I nearly finish all of the achievements, I wonder what trigger "All in" and "Lock pick" achievements? Pros: mature, twist plot; randoms events so every playthrough is refreshing; satisfying endings; main character is cool too Cons: I wonder the reason why I couldn't get those last 2 achievements because of bugs??
Ce jeu est une torture pour les yeux, le texte est illisible sans froncer des yeux et se placer à 20cm de l'écran ! Et les développeurs font preuve d'un détachement qui confine à l'incurie. Je désinstalle et je masque.
The game is not bad, but too difficult, I never completed it and probably won’t, there are no adequate saves, I got into a dead end - I had to start the game over, for some reason the sequence of events changed (maybe I chose a different option somewhere and the characteristics changed ), I didn’t notice any forks, I thought the story would be more unique from this point of view, but it turns out that random events open up access to new options that lead to the same events, just with different characteristics at the end (fame, money, suspicion and health), which ultimately prevents you from completing the game normally (lack of gold, high level of suspicion or lack of health). In the absence of an adequate system of acts and saves, it is impossible to beat the game the first time and so that it feels “unique”, since you simply have to choose other options for events at random, because there is no similar system to “Ser Brante” - that is, it is impossible to know the consequences on the characteristics, before choosing an option and the game turns into selection at random. Although it is unlikely that this will happen, the game needs improvement
The plot seems well thought, with very well fleshed out characters and historical references. The game, however, may still be lacking a bit in the balancing part, as some choices, for now, seem a bit too punishing, with almost a snowball effect of negative consequences, with no immediate means to hold. Still, a solid experience!

The story is quite interesting, I do like the premise of going after someone who has tainted your name and life. A classic revenge story. 2. The characters are unique and fit in extremely well in the setting. Eustachio Festa and Arrigo Donat hold their own during the middle of the campaign. 3. The use of a light RPG system fits in as several characters possess unique traits that make or break you. 4. The artwork lacks colors but due to that, it does an excellent job at capturing the theme and atmosphere of the entire game. 5. The details in the consequences of your choices enhance the experience of both the campaign and playing the overall game. 6. The music consists of lovely orchestral pieces and it does a fantastic job in fitting in with the atmosphere. During the informative pages where you can save, the music can be lighthearted or intense depending on incoming events. Cons: 1. Some events may not make sense such as if Eustachio Festa dies, and the event where you encounter a beggar, he will still ask you to stop Eustachio from harassing him, even if he's already dead. 2. The save system can be troublesome as it makes the campaign a one shot, so if you lose you will have to restart the entire game. This means no going back on a choice, save wisely. 3. Some events such as the planning the ambush for Carlos Correia, may present choices, but the choices will all be locked due to you lacking certain requirements, having you no way to progress. You'll have to restart the entire game. 4. The event when your caravan is on fire and you choose the option where you and your people help fix things up as it is their home, the game's textbox goes away but the game is not able to progress from there. 5. Some choices that involve coins, I feel that the choices should show how much coins you'll be losing out on, so you wouldn't be hit hard on sudden monetary charges or be able to plan your way through. 6. The game can feel repetitive on multiple playthroughs, even with it's save system if you play the campaign more than 3 times. Conclusion: Midnight Caravan is still in early access, so things may change later on in its lifetime. The game proves itself to be quite an interesting experience, with a light RPG system but also a world with unique characters and a large number of events to encounter. There are some bugs at the moment, but it has felt like a fun ride to play and replay even if I lost on numerous occasions. With some more polish on the way, Midnight Caravan right now shows plenty of potential to be quite an entertaining journey. Score: 7/10 GOOD
Made in Italy!
I mostly liked it (I hate myself), but cursive, the RNG events sequence that can make or break your playthrough and lack of logic behind some of the decisions or their outcomes overshadow the art, theme and anything else you might find appealing. It's basically masochist simulator to force somehow manageable events to happen before you hit a wall and rack up the stats for the "worse" random events or story choices. It doesn't even feel like a puzzle, straight up wishing well and you are out of pennies most of the time.
História instigante e bem construída. Ótimas ilustrações. Recomendado.
