Underated fun multiplayer dead game
Server offline. Can't play solo campaign anymore, just local multiplayer modes with bots.

nothing about this game is good. you only get local play since the 'servers' are 'shut down' also filled with shameless ♥♥♥♥♥♥ advertisements for no reason there is no reason at all to play this, everything about MMV4 is better
Can I get a refund? The game was shut down and no longer works

So Codemasters finally gave is what we wanted with a new Micro Machines, great huh? Not really... I loved the Mega Drive version (Turbo Tournament 96) of this game, excellent party game! You could even stick in two controllers into the cartridge and an 8 player mode (two per controller). This was a developer passionate about what they were making and didn't do the bare minimum, they went far above the call of duty and took everything to 11. This new game is pretty by all means (though I would prefer a return to pixel art), but that's about it, it's a husk of a game with barely anything to it. Maybe their plan was to release a bunch of paid dlc if the base game did well, not really sure. But it needed to have every mode in past MM games (especially the best ones) and even more at launch and also be stunning with online functionality etc. Not this halfhearted and lazy cash in. The modern western gaming industry is a serious joke at this point (I weep for the UK industry in particular, we had the third best industry at one point...), what happened to passionate and talented devs making games that they want to play? Corporations/greed/DEI took over I guess... Codemasters (a misnomer at this point) put a micro amount of effort into this and said "that'll do". Well no it won't, you're in the wrong business if you feel OK releasing a turd like this. Don't expect them to get any better under EA either (how long till they're shut them down I wonder?).
THEY WORKED ON THIS GAME FOR MAYBE 5 DAYS AND THEN DECIDED TO PUBLISH IT FOR SOME REASON. I WANT MY $3 BACK
Servers are down still?!?!
