Love this game when will Miami Cruise 2 come out ?
----------------- Dear generation VHS and all you retro lovers. If Retrowave was a religion, Miami Cruise is a gospel. If you feel an emptiness in your hearts then come into the (neon) light of Miami Cruise. Sink into the extacy of Synthwave while you are on the laser grid in Neon Miami to the fantastic color spectrum of the setting vaporwave sun. Everything is already brightly lit for you The journey is the destination and catch the flash of powerups along the way, An explosion of pixels and color effect fire that relaxes the mind. Enjoy the ride and chill, play with the turbo, while the soundtrack blares from the speakers and gets your ears hooked. A ride that needs no end, that leaves no room for melancholy. No dull gray in the rush of color that frees the mind, until the music becomes graphics. No fear a collision is not the end, press the gas and (re)start again, because the music always goes on for you and the neon sun is far from setting.
It's just the Neon Retro Arcade Synthwave Racing Game I want since a long time. There's a good content (and no bug for me) for an early access. It's relaxing and challenging. I can't wait for the future updates !
this game filled me with disappointment
Believe it or not, "synthwave racing game" is kind of a genre. There's a dozen of these things on Steam, and they all share three traits: amazing music, amazing visuals, very weak gameplay. Miami Cruise is no different. Playing more like a mobile game runner, where sessions are short and a single impact means starting over, there's just not much going on here. "Sometimes, you get a gun!" ...okay, but is it fun to shoot other cars? Not really. It's early access, so maybe things will improve, but the core gameplay loop of "drive until you hit something" isn't enough. I'd rather buy the soundtrack and jam to that all night long than play the actual game.
The game is great but it could use some more content. More cars would be nice and I think the current cars that exist in the game should be sidegrades from the first car you start out with. I think more choice in general would make this game better than it already is. A weaker starting powerup of the beneficial powerups for when you start each round would be nice. I think the shield powerup should also provide immunity to the slowing terrain or have that to be a new powerup entirely. There's a few bugs but otherwise, I really like this game. Keep adding more content and it will have a bigger audience.
Nice
