Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This isn't a game, it's just a software application. "Meu" lacks the basic mechanics that make something a game. Lacking that, this is just an application that allows you to do primitive mocap then slap a hideous filter on it to make your VR mocap look like crap. Yeah, pointless, and definitely not a game. To clarify why this isn't a game in more precise terms, a "game loop" is the core cycle of interaction and feedback between a player and the game itself, and this software app doesn't have one. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. Counter-Strike has a game loop where a player seeks another player, tests their skill against that player by shooting them or being shot, the computer rewards the player if they win, and then if the player survives, they repeat that loop. You won't find any of those kinds of loops or any real gamelike feedback here. It is impossible to "play" this because it isn't a game. This was incorrectly dumped into the "Games" section instead of the "Software" section. We can just guess this is because the developer has no idea what they are doing and just tried to shove their app down gamers throats without considering doing the right thing... once more a developer putting his own needs before that of gamers. There's a correct process for publishing games which the developer has either deliberately or incompetently not followed: Steam Developer Help With Software Publishing Because the developer didn't bother doing the right thing, we now have a non-game software app in entirely the wrong place. Publishing non-game software apps on Steam as if they are games is bad for everyone, it's harmful. It robs visibility from legitimate developers who are actually making games, following the right procedures and doing the right thing. It makes it harder for those genuine, ethical developers to find their audience, and it makes it harder for us gamers to find those real games. Without a game loop or interactive feedback, this is just junkware in the wrong section. It's a software app, not a game, and I won't recommend it as a game to gamers. While this doesn't have an up front cost, it wasn't successful on Steam Direct. SteamDB shows this only ever had 3 concurrent users (out of around 40 million visitors every day to Steam), and that only ever happened once. There's no other way to measure that than complete failure... there's over 130 million gamers on Steam. Nobody was interested in this.
