woulda been perfect if it came with mgo2
Finally out of PS3 purgatory. And Konami actually did a really god job porting it out.
Fantastic ending to the best Game franchise ever made. Its even better that its not just a PS3 port, very well optimised and runs great on a 4070 super. 10/10
Awesome game. After 23 hours of gametime, I finally made it through the first cutscene.
Kojima at his best, Kojima at his worst. Old Snake is the best protag ever
Konami te odio con todo mi ser pero a como te extrañe Metal Gear Solid 4, que maldita obra maestra.
I'm a newcomer to the series and I binged the first three games before starting this one. I had no expectations of it being good or bad other then absolutely loving mgs 1-3 so I was hoping that mgs4 would seal the deal with the Solid Snake story line. Unfortunately, I cannot say that this game has a satisfying ending. Kojima seems to have made fan service a priority over a good story. Almost the whole game is fan service slop that feels made specifically to evoke emotions from the player. This is why I believe much of the community likes this game since they've been playing the series for much longer then I have so those nostalgia bait and fan service moments hit harder for them. To me the just seem cheap. Secondly, I believe MGS4's story even ignoring the fan service is not up to par whatsoever with the first 3 games. It feels like Kojima wrote himself into a cage, and this game is him trying to explain everything for the community, but I'm not happy with the explanations and I don't see why he felt like it was necessary TO explain everything. It's ok to leave things unknown in your game. Overall, the first two acts of this game felt like they had a lot of potential, but after that it was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ story and fan service.
I was able to take a shower, go to work, come back and eat dinner and there was STILL a cutscene being played
言わずもがな、神作品。 ありがとう。 と言いたい、ただそれだけ。
It’s commendable of Konami to make us wait until we’re suffering from back and lower back pain so that an entire generation that didn’t own a PS3 when they were teenagers can experience the ultimate Old Snake experience
