Yes, this game has issues. Yes, the cutscenes are too long and too invasive. Yes, the gameplay sections become too streamlined in acts 3-5. Yes, the final boss isn't great or good. However, the game still has other things that even out the weaker aspects of it, particularly the weapon variety, weapon customization, improvements to stealth, collectibles, and incentives to go back on subsequent playthroughs thanks to end game titles and rewards. I'd argue that there's more good here than there is bad even if the bad elements are serious on their own. https://youtu.be/fAQytEqLLJM
uno de los mejores juegos de la vida. gracias Dios Kojima
It plays really nicely. Just be aware that this is not a remake or remaster, it's a port with some modern polish. Don't expect groundbreaking graphical improvements, it's true to the original. The most important thing is that it runs really smooth and seems to work great right from release. A huge improvement over past MGS re-releases.
Most Cinematic Game Ever Made & a Fantastic Conclusion to a Great Series. They don't make games like this anymore. What was once stuck on hardware from 2008, is ready available for everyone nearly 20 years later.
MGS4 out of the shackles of PS3. A dream come true!
I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bet that Ocelot and Snake are actually secret lovers
最高かよ
ps3でプレイした時はカットシーン9割方飛ばしてたガキだったけどリマスター版で7割くらいは見れた!よかった!
Honestly it's hard to give this game an objective review. The praise you see is for the fact this even exists. For 30$ you're getting one of the most infamously PS3 locked titles of all time on PC. Not only that but the performance is perfectly functional. With a 3rd party frame gen program like Lossless Scaling, you can run MGS at 120fps smoothly. On PC. I genuinely never thought we'd see this day in at least this decade. I remember for years checking back in on PS3 emulation demonstration videos showing off the at the moment current state of demanding titles like MGS4 on PC emulators. Thinking for years that was the closest we'd ever get to having this title on PC, saved from disk rot or dying hardware of the PS3. Chipping away, clawing a few more frames every couple years. The fact this release on steam even exists and runs as well as you expect it to, is genuinely a miracle. Lets be real, if you're here, your mind on this game is already made up, you just wanted to know if it runs well. And boy oh boy, does it.
Great Game!
