Given that this is still definitley in development, this is great. The UI is a bit janky, but functionally it makes it easy to customize what you want, and it's dope you can import your own objects! I can see this becoming something really great in time.
being its free, and in 2026 is incomplete, I still recommend. if they had even gone a bit further with this, literally that last 10-20 percent, it would have been great. its still really good, however certain things are vague or very hard to figure out, others are just unintuitive. the scale function is relatively broken for example, requiring to set scale to max on all objects and constantly swap back and forth to register any change. setting initial start points for things AWAY from others is hard ASF to do taking forever... however this software has a few cool things, such as the event editor, letting you time out event changes and material/object swaps. HUGE if you know what you're doing, even with stock objects. I use combo NV Overlay and the old prank "invisible mouse Cursor" to actual effect here too. It doesn't tell you what file it wants to load, even the filetype, when you try to use presets, I usually just load whatever song file is already going and it goes through like normal, to the viz + whatever music is playing. also presets don't allow changed view angles. I have yet to figure out how to move things via mouse once in the environment only by x-y axis. Another strength would be its randomizer, which is actually capable of spitting out cool stuff sometimes, and can change view angles. however, loading these or any of your OWN saved presets, seems to not work or I've yet to figure it. The actual assets here, objects materials, and animation controls, are actually all fairly good. I recommend pairing this with more or one other editors rather than using on its own. but for free its surprisingly good and deep, recommended. Dev Please come back. this only needed that last push to make it a truly great software.

My wife said if this review gets 50 likes and 5 awards, she will buy a case of beer, guys help me out
Before I played Metagroove, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
