Kill all the Kut-ta!
goat
Fun game, but it definitely needs a better tutorial. Some things are explained poorly or not at all, like the fact there's no initiative. Any unit can move once per turn in any order. It's killer to move twice in a row and the AI does it all the time.
Performance is meh. I don't have fans spinning much in PoE or Last Epoch, or, for example, control with RTX on, or Expedition 33, or Death Stranding. Heck, do you remember The Division 1? But here, on a random map, all the cooling goes brrr occasionally in this game. And it's not like there's much happening on the screen in terms of visual clutter at any time.

Looks promising so far, altough normal difficulty lowkey lacks challenge and a level higher difficulty is too hard, sometimes impossible or even unfair
I just don't like it. The first mission my squad just gets creamed by 5 squads when I only have 2. I WISH they just made another Battle Brothers game. Disapointed.
The new OCI rework is great, and I really feel like you can see the game taking very solid shape. Looking forward to seeing further developments and can heartily recommend people jump on now if they can afford it.
First impressions: The opening mission puts you at a noticeable tactical disadvantage. The enemy starts in strong defensive positions with good cover and vehicle support, while your force—five 5-man teams—begins exposed in open terrain. You have to carefully advance, eliminate the enemy, and then capture the objective. It immediately emphasizes positioning, cover, teamwork, and tactical movement. Unfortunately, I found the opening mission overwhelming and discouraging, and it made progress feel unnecessarily difficult. In the end, I refunded and uninstalled the game.
Excellent so far. Can't wait for this to become a complete work of art.
