very nice
Excellent indie strategy game! Devs are also constantly updating and adjusting the game. You can lose a lot of time in this game, upgrading and modifying your squads and vehicles, along with the variety of missions. Highly recommend for turn based strategy fans!
Very addicting game. A little tough to get into at first, but once you actually start progressing and unlock cooler ♥♥♥♥, it opens up a lot. Harder difficulties are pretty damn unforgiving but im having a blast. It is early access so not a TON of content but honestly im pretty content with what they got so far. Hard, fun, addictive, me likey, me recommend.
GOOD GAME
This game is just fun. You command a colorful squad of mercenaries through challenging tactical missions, slowly upgrading them from under-equipped relatively expendable liabilities into a highly trained collection of slightly less expendable liabilities. The combat has that satisfying old-school X-Com feel, with plenty of weapons, environments, objectives, and opportunities to miss a shot that absolutely should have landed. It is still in Early Access, but there is already plenty here for fans of squad-based tactical strategy games. Given the developer’s track record with Battle Brothers, the future looks very promising assuming my mercenaries survive long enough to see it. Summary: Fun. Active Devs. Purchase & Enjoy ;-)
outstanding
Had some issues at first, some of the onboarding/tutorial parts could be better. But one of the biggest ethos shifts is that your unit's range is so much wider than their movement, something of an oddity in tactical turnbased. And there's not really much range penalty, more a point blank bonus. Dancing at the edge of each other's ranges is kinda the norm. Some of the mechanics could be better explained, but honestly the game is pretty forgiving in the early chapters where you can play around and find what your style is going to be. Just wish there was more about the various resources and systems of accruing them. Still trying to figure out how to get more squaddies passively.
Haven't played a ton but game good.
