i like it so far feels a bit like the canceled ut4 prealpha weapons are versatile and ut-inspired, maybe with a sprinkle of xonotic you can tell it was made by a very small but very passionate team. looking in the credits it's really just a handful of people, most people doing multiple roles/jobs. the levels are quite good which is the real deciding factor for me leaving this review; some other AFPS just come with copies of levels from other games, this seems to have a lot of original levels and they all feel pretty good so far. there's also a level editor. i really like a lot of quake style games too, but just know that this one is more in the unreal 2k4 school - you even have shock combos, which automatically gives it a thumbs up in my book... graphics are very clean, combat is very readable. there is a combat log next to your crosshair by default so you can see how much damage you're doing and stuff, which is nice. also in a duel, you can see the other player's stack when you're in combat with them. also in a duel it seems like your max health goes down as you go on killing spree, which is a nice comeback mechanic for the player who's behind - if you get killed a few times in a row, it's easier for you to get a kill on the other guy. i'm not sure if it's good game design but i appreciate the developers trying to do something to make duel less of a one-sided stomp, and allow for more shifts of control; with this mechanic the game is more dynamic, and less "pacman" running around the arena picking up armor and avoiding combat until you're 200/200, like in some other afps. imho the game seems like a bit of a hidden gem, despite its little imperfections. it's difficult to carve out a space in the afps scene (or lack of a scene, really) between all the other games in the genre, but this one has some interesting ideas. also the ctf perks / loadouts are a cool idea. you can pick any gun but you start with a few and a special ability. i think it makes ctf more interesting. anyway, it's free to play, you have nothing to lose but your time. maybe give the devs a little cash if you enjoyed it.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.

Warning: In-Game Cash Shop This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money/credit card details to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
This is a godawfully bad ripoff of Unreal Tournament/Quake III Arena except with painfully generic bland map design... in fact roughly 5 times the development effort for this "game" went into a plethora of toxic monetisation schemes that can lead to only one conclusion: With this much "gimme cash" monetisation for a contentless low effort game, this is nothing but a cash grab. So, "Master Arena" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the Game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. On the important matter of pricing and value for gamers, there's a lot going on here with monetisation, so this really shouldn't be considered a truly free product because of that. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $10 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. It doesn't stop there, this game is also infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Even after that, you're expected to pay up $8 USD to unlock content through DLC purchases. The game should not be considered completely unlocked until you empty your wallet for the developer. This is misleading and predatory pricing on a product falsely marketed as "free". The grift and cash grabbing keeps getting worse... this product is hooked into Steams "Totally not NFTs" Community Marketplace/Inventory, which means you can buy and sell and trade "tokens" (fungible ones in this case) for real world money, and you can "earn" these tokens by playing the game. This is never done with the interests of gamers in mind, the "developer" behind this gets paid for every trade, and has presumbly also farmed up a bunch of the items to sell on the market, too. This kind of Steam abuse, combined with a minimum-viable-product non-game, does no service to gamers whatsoever. Given that this free title won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? Not on a bet. This might be "free", but I still feel like I got ripped off.
очень затягивающая игра но похожа на Overwatch но это + ну кароче топ
Could be fun if only the game wanted to launch
