Mass Effect™ Legendary Edition

One of the greatest games Ive ever played - the gameplay is genuinely fun throughout all three games, and the story is fantastic, but where this game REALLY shines is in its characters and worldbuilding. ME2 and ME3 especially had some of the best character writing ive ever seen in the game, from the crew of the Normandy to other key story figures to one off characters, everyone felt real and masterfully evoked the emotions they were written to. The worldbuilding was similarly amazing, and though ME2 faltered a bit (though more than made up for it in gameplay and character writing, the latter of which I personally believe is probably the best in the trilogy), ME1 and ME3 really captured the scale and expanse of a galaxy, and the smallness of Sheperd's part in it, however big our importance

Для олдов то что нужно)) Первую часть я не осилил - уж больно технически устарела, но 2я и 3я части это имба. Но и без багов не обошлось - иногда приходится перепроходить чекпоинты заново, так как может один моб стать бессмерным и неоткроется какая то дверь, или еще что-то, но это редко. В целом играю и кайфую.

Excellent worldbuilding, interesting characters, immersive, genuine dillemas and choices, and good voice acting. There's plenty of shooting, for those who are into that sort of thing. Personally I like putting it on easy mode so I can get done with the shooting quickly so I can get to the story stuff. I'm playing the first of this trilogy of games for the first time in 2026, and I've only played the Legendary Edition.

Una trilogia absolutamente impresionante

A true Masterpiece ! I discovered the trilogy through this legendary edition and oh man... what a trip it was ! I know I will never be able to forget this game but damn I wish I could bump my head into a wall, forget everything and experienced it all over again. I enjoyed the gameplay, but what really stroke me is the rythm of the game, the story and of course the characters. I don't know how many hours I have spent going back and forth in the Normandy and the Citadel just to be sure not to miss any line from any npc and any background stories. The universe is so full of life and detailed it feels so alive, I have never experienced a stronger emotional bond to a game and characters than this one here. Before playing Mass Effect I was kinda used to skip dialog and run through the games, but I enjoyed so much taking it slow here and spending all this time wandering in the game. A true must play, one the best trilogy of all the time, just pure cinema all the way ! So grateful that these games exist, thank you Bioware ! Keelah Se'lai !

"I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favourite game on Steam" or something like that. Really enjoyable, memorable characters, solid story line, plenty of side quests to do. I always think older games hit differently because they were made with actual care.
