Great, epic space voyage and story.
Best game Ive ever played
I love these games but so far ME1 is riddled with bugs. I would have expected bugs from the main story to be fixed at the very least but playing on insanity I've had to go back to saves and replay several times because something got stuck or didn't load. The game seems to fix itself if I load a save far enough back but losing all that progress is really annoying. The game is more of a texture upgrade than it is a remaster so keep that in mind. idk if its worth the 60 bones especially if you already have the originals.
Can it wait for a bit? I`m in a middle of some CaLiBrAtIoNs

What can I say that hasn't already been said. One of the absolute best Sci-Fi RPG's in the wild. Garrus Vakarian, Mordin Solus, Urdnot Wrex, and, the one and only, Tali'Zorah - best written characters ever. This game makes me feel like no other. Mass Effect 1 is a bit rough, a clearly new formula in gameplay department, not yet perfected, a diamond in the rough. Mass Effect 2, gameplay perfected, my absolute favorite of the three, love the characters, the progression, the skills, graphics, quests, it all just fits together perfectly. And the dynamics between the characters. Mass Effect 3, massive stakes, takes on the aspect of fear of failure and loss very seriously in the war against absolutely overwhelming force. With Citadel DLC also introduces a bit of much lighter atmosphere. Best to do it when you've got all the characters unlocked. Javiks "I rarely get picked" cracked me XD, Tali's "Come back to me" made me shed a tear. If you haven't played it, even if you're not a fan of Sci-Fi, it is worth trying. I'm telling you, this hits hard. Keelah se'lai.
These games are classics for a reason, and this series' choice-based RPG mechanics are probably still unsurpassed. AAA games these days are usually too expensive to plan as a trilogy up front, but Bioware was able to set up stories and character arcs that have time to breathe and develop in a way that is otherwise impossible. Mass Effect also features a very compelling "true sci-fi" setting, centered around a fictional element - "Element Zero" - that's capable of lowering and raising the mass of objects when subjected to an electrical current. This allows a huge variety of interesting technologies and abilities, both mundane and fantastical. Virtually every 'strange' or seemingly-mystical force is backed up by thoughtful writing and explanation, and curiosity is rewarded with details and exposition throughout. The first game's combat (and level of detail) struggle with the lack of budget, but 2 and 3 are considerably more fleshed out. Both are snappy, enjoyable third person cover shooters and feature a variety of character 'builds' that lend to replayability. Some under-the-hood changes were made to the combat-focused RPG mechanics in ME1 to make for a more smooth, intuitive experience with gear and leveling up, but purists have the option to toggle these if the original balancing is preferred. While graphics changes generally just bring up texture resolution and some rendering effects to a more modern standard, they cannot be toggled as in some other remasters. ME3's co-op multiplayer missions are also not featured in this edition, but it is otherwise the complete ME Trilogy experience. A must-play for science fiction and narrative gameplay fans, and a one-of-a-kind experience for anyone who might enjoy RPGs.
