MARVEL Strike Force: Squad RPG

No player agency, absurd monetizion I have played this game on and off since launch and I’m in an endgame guild. I’m an endgame player, and over the years I have thoroughly enjoyed the game, even though I needed to take breaks every now and then for real life reasons. This game used to be a blast. Getting characters unlocked through events was a common occurrence. They also gave out free orbs and had fun events where you could work hard and earn great rewards. Now the events all have a cap as to what you can do without spending money. The rewards that are actually worth something to an endgame player are paid for and there’s no way to earn them without spending money. It used to be pay to win, which is fine in a game like this. However, now the game is more pay to play than anything else. A lot of events are locked behind characters that you can only get with money. They recently removed the ability to buy orbs for characters to unlock them through in-game currency that you earn from arena and other events. And worst of all, it just feels like a canned experience to me. You don’t have any agency as a player. If you want to be competitive or complete events as much as you can without spending, you must build up the characters that they want you to build. Maybe some people like that, but I don’t. It used to be a really fun game but now it just feels bad to play. I used to be a moderate spender in this game but once they removed a lot of the fun things that you used to get for free, I lost my desire to spend. I’ve only been free to play for a few months but it just feels terrible.

Game not loading So I recently got this game and there has been no trouble with loading the game and nothing else but when I opened the game this morning, the game was stuck at 24 percent and never went up

Fall of Scopely INC scopely has fallen, they constantly find ways to screw up and fail the game and the people, they raise the prices, charge well over $300-$400 to max a new character. They bottleneck events with stupid requirements. Have outdated daily’s and the “challenges” every day, are outdated by several years. They don’t care about the players, only profit and has to be a Top 5 of the worst gaming companies for Mobile. Can’t wait till I see the Lawsuit they face from everything I keep hearing on what trash they been up to since I quit. 8 years of playing wasted for a cold hearted company.

Cash Grab! I’m starting to think this game has turned into a research experiment to see how far a company can push its greed and willingness of players to take the shaft. I understand the concept having an option to use money to advance at a faster rate in a game but now they have just straight went pay to play. $40 a month to get two passes and stay competitive? Fine. But they have gone too far. I only went two stars because the actual gameplay is fun which is why I have been playing for like 5-6 years now but shame on you scopley for turning this game into a goddamn cash grabbing greed fest.

My favorite mobile marvel game I have been searching the AppStore for good marvel games and I settled on this one. It’s more simple and easy then contest of champions but even more fun! If I could give it more stars I would. I recommend.

Terrible Pay to Win Game The only thing this game has going for it is the property, as it’s certainly not the gameplay. The only way to get ahead is to either grind at a glacial pace or sink a lot of money in it and they prefer the latter. Take the new event that’s theoretically for beginners. You can have heroes with much higher stars, gear tier, power rating and if it’s still not exponentially higher you will get destroyed on the very first node. Unless you can’t help throwing money at a Marvel game it’s best avoided.
