I used to play this for nearly two years before my state of mind, my bank account, and my clock that said I needed to do literally anything else finally pushed me away. I enjoyed it early on for the longest and am the kind of person that loves collecting things, but this game got to the point that the only path forward was to spend money to keep up with the ever-increasing number of new cards released every month! As a game, it's got a fantastic design, easy-to-use interface for main gameplay, but so many, many bugs that cause disconnects, delays in U/I interface interaction, and even skipping an entire turn while the opponent plays theirs. IF you can keep yourself an emotionally stable and time managing free-to-play gamer with this one, you'll be just fine. If not, and the overwhelming wave of new cards and strategies would drive you mad, stay away. DON'T spend money, near everything you would spend on is cosmetic anyway!
They manipulate the draws and matchups to keep decks at near 50% win rates. You will have hours and hours of game time spend losing, not because your cards are weak, or you make incorrect plays, but because the game says its time to lose. Playing a midrange deck? Here comes all of the high power decks, put something in your deck to stop those decks, all of the sudden they disappear. The game is near dead already, dont waste your time, and certainly not your money

good strategic game
Well Worth Recommending – A Fast-Paced Card Game That Rewards Strategy and Skill Marvel SNAP is an outstanding digital card game that delivers exciting matches without requiring a huge time commitment. Every game lasts only a few minutes, yet each match is filled with meaningful decisions, clever strategy, and unexpected moments. Whether you're a longtime Marvel fan or simply enjoy competitive card games, it offers an experience that is both accessible and deeply engaging. One of the game's greatest strengths is its unique gameplay. Instead of focusing only on defeating your opponent, players must compete for control of three different locations, each with special effects that change every match. Combined with the Snap mechanic, which lets players raise the stakes based on their confidence, every decision feels important and keeps matches exciting until the very end. The variety of cards, decks, and locations provides excellent replay value. Experimenting with different strategies and discovering creative card combinations is incredibly rewarding, while frequent updates introduce new cards, balance changes, and events that keep the game feeling fresh and competitive. Marvel SNAP also stands out because of its polished presentation. The card artwork is beautifully designed, the animations are smooth, and the interface is clean and easy to navigate. The game performs well across platforms, making it simple to enjoy whether you're playing for a few minutes or a longer session. For anyone looking for a strategic card game that is easy to learn, rewarding to master, and consistently entertaining, Marvel SNAP is well worth playing. Its fast-paced gameplay, creative mechanics, and ongoing developer support make it one of the best digital collectible card games available today.
I always go back and play this game because I actually enjoy it, even though it has its problems. Trust me—its issues aren't even in the top 1% compared to other games, and this comes from someone who plays games from companies like EA, 2K, Bungie, etc.
The question is, can someone pay to win in this game?
Yes and no. It’s not really pay-to-win because most of the winning comes down to the player. You have to have a strategy to win—it doesn’t matter what you’re playing, if you play badly, you will lose. Yes, there are cards that are really good, but they’re not better than a solid strategy. People think spending money will make them win in this game, but spending money here just makes you realize you wasted it for nothing. Unlike games from other companies that are actually pay-to-win—where spending money feels rewarding because you’re consistently winning against non-paying players—this game is different. At the start, you’re going to think every person you go against has spent money. But once you reach Collection Level 1000+, you’re on an even playing field and you start getting better at the game. That’s what makes it fun: you win because you’re smart, not because you had better cards. That doesn't mean counters don't exist, though. On paper, there are matches you simply cannot win because their deck is a 100% hard counter to yours. In the end, I want to say this: this game is really fun when you just enjoy it and grind for progression rather than spending money. I haven’t spent money to gain an advantage—the only money I’ve spent was because a card variant looked cool, so I bought it to try it out, and it was fun. That’s it. Just play the game and enjoy it. You can literally win with anything if you have a solid strategy. Plus, there’s always something new—new cards, new game modes—it feels very refreshing
This really is the worst game if you look at the monetization and progress.Ben Brode wtf are you doing man. That said the idea and the way the game plays is great. Here is the basic deck I build and had alot of success against the whales. # (1) America Chavez # (1) Agent 13 # (1) Mantis # (2) Okoye # (2) Cable # (3) Wolfsbane # (3) Nakia # (3) White Queen # (4) Shang-Chi # (4) Jessica Jones # (5) Devil Dinosaur # (5) Vision # QWdudDEzNyxPazUsQ2JsNSxXaHRRbkEsTW50czYsV2xmc2JuOSxWc242LEFtcmNDaHZ6RCxEdmxEbnNyRCxTaG5nQ2g4LEpzc2NKbnNDLE5rNQ== # # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and paste it from the deck editing menu in MARVEL SNAP.
cost for new cards is absurd for a new or even returning player, this is one of those games you play consistently and daily and is very unfriendly if you ever want or have to take a break.
this game is a combination of strategy, and gambling. As you climb the Collection level youll unlock various cards, but once your past pool 3, its a gamble weather you'll get any useful cards. Theres also the mannor of titles, profile pictures, and variants. Weather it be one you want is a gamble and even more if a cards in pool 4 or 5 you'll probably never see it unless you go to the token shop. This game is very fun once you understand how it truley works. You have to understand what your opponent may or may not have based on the cards they've played snap when you can and get ready for one heck of a grind cause the events you'll either have to spend countless hours playing them or use gold to expidt the process. Id recomend it but getting any cards past pool 3 is very hard and not exactly friendly to new players, watch some youtube videos because its going to be a long one. The cards themselves are pretty straight forward but the synergy they have with other cards and the matchups of them aren't what you'd think. If your looking for a game to play with a deck of all avengers this isn't for you because they don't build of one another. x-men only hadful actually are a well organized team, even then you wont climb very far. Wolverine, venom and carnage who would of though thats a match made in heaven with this game. do you research before playing dont worry about any cards past pool 3 until you've complete them all. unless you know which cards will work best with what style of play you enjoy. -if you made it this far thank you and have an excellent day.
