Incredibly fun mobile fighter It’s by far my favorite fighting game on mobile, there are so many champions to collet and the fighting is easy but not too easy.

Great Fighting Game, Absolutely Awful Economy I genuinely enjoy Marvel Contest of Champions, which is why I’m giving the overall game 3/5 stars. The combat is fun, the champion roster is massive, and there’s a lot of content to play through. Unfortunately, one part of the game drags the entire experience down for me: the ridiculous in-game currency system. There are simply too many currencies to keep track of. Different game modes, events, stores, and progression systems seem to introduce another token, shard, crystal, resource, or special currency. Instead of making progression feel rewarding, it makes the game’s economy feel unnecessarily bloated and exhausting. But my biggest problem by far is Units, the game’s premium currency. Units are incredibly difficult to save because the game gives you so few through normal gameplay compared with how quickly you can spend them. You can put a significant amount of time into the game and watch your Unit balance crawl upward, while many useful purchases can wipe out a large portion of your savings almost instantly. And buying Units with real money isn’t exactly an attractive alternative. Just look at the store prices: * 135 Units — $4.99 * 275 Units — $9.99 * 850 Units — $29.99 * 1,450 Units — $49.99 * 3,100 Units — $99.99 That means even the $99.99 “Best Value” package works out to only about 31 Units per dollar. Put another way, 1,000 Units effectively costs about $32.25 at the game’s best standard in-app rate. What makes that pricing even harder to swallow is how weak the bulk discount is. The $4.99 package gives about 27.05 Units per dollar, while dropping nearly $100 at once raises that to only about 31 Units per dollar. That’s only around a 15% improvement in Units per dollar despite spending twenty times as much money at once. So yes, Odin’s Vault technically is the best value of these packages. The pricing tiers aren’t mathematically deceptive—the larger packages progressively give you more Units for your money. But calling $99.99 for 3,100 Units a compelling “Best Value” is another matter entirely. A $100 premium-currency purchase should feel substantial. That’s the frustrating part of the system. You’re stuck between slowly grinding for relatively small amounts of Units or paying prices that I don’t think offer particularly good value. If Units were considerably easier to earn through gameplay, the cash prices wouldn’t bother me nearly as much. Likewise, if the real-money packages offered substantially more Units, the slow earning rate would be easier to tolerate. Instead, the game manages to make both sides of the equation feel stingy. And all of this is piled on top of an already overcrowded currency system. It’s a shame because underneath all of that monetization is a genuinely entertaining Marvel fighting game. I like collecting champions, building my roster, and actually playing the game. I just wish the economy were simpler and progression felt more rewarding instead of constantly reminding me how scarce the premium currency is. Overall game: 3/5. In-game currency system: 1/5. TL;DR: The fighting is fun. The currency system makes me feel like I need an accounting degree.

Review Best mobile game ever made

Best game ever played! I'm not going to lie, but Marvel Contest of Champions is literally the greatest of all time! Golly Moses, that was the best one I’ve ever played in a while. Greatest of all time = GOAT.

Great game! Bit time consuming though… Overall I really enjoy this game. Key points are champ design, simple base controls but unique play styles per champ. The graphics are good for mobile and animations too. It definitely rewards spending but I play F2P. I only buy the Sigil and make great progress per month. My roster constantly grows with dailies and new generous events. Biggest complaint is you can definitely spend a lot of time if you want to grind leaderboards, but casual play is what I do and find success

Cool game but unplayable I’ve had this game on and off for years and honestly I don’t even bother with ANY of the quests, side quests, anything in the fighting aspect of the game (which is majority of the game itself) because it’s gotten to a point where you can’t win, they make the enemies health so large that you have to play PERFECT for minutes at a time. I just play to collect characters and that’s about it 🤷‍♂️

How is this still an issue please fix your game I’ve been playing this game for almost my whole life on my dads iPad and my iPhone 12 and one day the game just doesn’t load on my phone and Im stuck on the loading screen forever fast forward to now with my new iPhone 17 so I decided to redownload the game to see if I can play on my favorite games again but no the issue is still there and Im still unable to play a game I haven’t played since I was 12 💔

I LOVE IT HERE i forgot how easy it is to progress through the story! dont you. load into the fight and there are 8 debuffs, another debuff happening in 10secs, another debuff if you dont jerk a certian away, another debuff if you dont open up a certain way anddd on top of that perma unblockable
