Greedy company shows once again that they are just here for the money, not for the consumers. I went from looking forward to MapleStory Classic to being absolute that I won't be playing this game. These devs have done so many things wrong, back to back.

The only classic thing MapleStory Classic got right was Nexon being the absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worst ♥♥♥♥ ever. It really feels like I’m back in the mid-2000s again.

Struggles to launch half the time. Just not very engaging to play anymore.

Nexon is the same as you remember

Played this game for many years. Please save yourself and don't get invested. Save your time, save your money. On Aug X, 2026 more than a handful of players got falsely banned (Can check out the threads on Reddit). I was one of those people. After sending 4 tickets and getting back a frustrating 3 bot-like responses from the GMs, my account's suspension was lifted after a couple days. However, even though the suspension was lifted, those couple days told me a bigger story. My general view of this company and as many can probably relate as well, has already been more than just rock bottom. What this false ban has told me this past couple days is that your hard work, commitment, time, and money can disappear at the snap of their in-game detection system. Personally, I've always been on the fence of recommending this game to other players. I thought with the game's direction the past couple months/years, that it'd be ok for me to at least let some people give it a shot if they were interested, but now as of the day I'm writing this, can confidently tell you to not even give this game a chance. I suggest you find somewhere that'll actually respect and value your time and money elsewhere.
