Really Good Game

I think it's successful in that it does what it sets out to, and does it well. I'm having fun and I plan to finish it, but the story hasn't really grabbed me yet. Update after completion: The story does get a bit better, and while I appreciate what they were going for with the ending, it just didn't do it for me. The game really does feel just shy of being great... I'm not sure what's missing, but it just never landed for me. Also I was bored of the structure by the end. Sneak in, fight your way out, 3-part knife-fight, repeat.

12 hours in and at chapter 12. Really enjoyable so far, make sure to set the driving settings to manual shift for an extra challenge.

Excellent entry into the series. After Mafia 3 I was worried about the series, but this is one of the best Mafia games. Excellent story, varied gameplay, and great visuals. I'm shocked this game wasn't talked about more when it was release. Don't skip if you love a good story driven game.

I kept waiting for this game to open up and get better but after five hours it seems like it'll be the same bad stealth segments and terrible shooting the whole way through.
